I use the default 10a esc, but sometime the motor wont start. Need to use hand to turn the blade inorder to let the motor spin.

Did you mod the esc?

I soldered the motors from the HP08-2 motor straight to the ESC board and that makes it start everytime plus it makes more power also.

Are you using the WK-WST-10A-L ESC? Do you lube your bearings, gears and motor?

I am using the stock Walkera esc that came with the heli. I dont lube the motor bearings.

Yes the servos are strong enough to handle the extra power so far I have about 35 flights with this new motor with no problems so realiability looks good so far.
