That part at 2:38 sucks so much for me. I lost like 7 lives trying to beat that, even though I've beaten the game before. I screamed. >:-(

*update* I got it! As darklord1776 said below, you need to put yourself so basically only your back toe is left on the edge. Jump first, then direct to the right.

Now my hatred falls on the grabber guy that runs you into the spikes on the floaty part of stage 3. I hate that guy. A lot.

The fact they didn't release this game for the DS pisses me off. It's a little more than an 8 bit game, but I doubt the DS would have a problem running it, unless I'm missing something.

2:38 is by far the hardest jump in the game.... i died so many times. didnt have that much problems with the rest though ;)

this is by far the hardest stage of any megaman game! only skill can get you past the spikes in this level. if you jump too high you die, if you jump too late you die. and you can't cheat and use a rush coil or rush jet to get through either because the path is too narrow. only true skill can get you past the spike part. even watching this video to see how it's done proves to you that it takes skill alone. so if you can get past the spikes in this stage, consider yourself a megaman god.

they blow mega man 9 out of the park with the music, i mean don't get me wrong i love mm 10 but ever song on mm 9 is freaken awesome. the best music in a mega man game i only say mega man 2 has better music but just cause of nostalgic reasons.

lol at :49, I did it the hard way with r jet, across that thing, then up the stairs.

Funny I used the t blow against the 2nd part of the boss, thought that was the only weapon that worked. And used the b bomb and h chaser agains the 3rd part.

H chaser first seems like you're more suspectible to damage. But whatever works.

i wouldn't worry about it too much. once you get the feel of it, it gets pretty easy.

Yeah, I developed a technique that works for me, I simply walk slowly to the edge and make sure megaman has only his back foot on the platform. Has worked for me every time so far.

You should pick up that nifty trinket from the store that refills all your weapon energies equally whether they're equipped or not. You prolly know about it. It's just one of the better inventions in the game xD next to the E tank

you should have used splash womans weapon first! then tornado and at the last part splash womans weapon again....it would have been a breeze.

i use tornado blow on the second part of the boss, if you use the entire round its an instant-kill :)

You guys obviously haven't even played the game. If you press the fire button over and over at the speed of light, only 3 shots will come out at a time. After that, you need to wait almost a second to fire again. For some reason that rule didn't apply to this guy here in the video.

it been like that for every mega man game...as long as you hitting something you can fire rapid shots like crazy...but if you keep pressing the button with hitting anything you'll only get 3 at a time
