  • i was in prone position for 17 hours as i had lung failure, when the staff turned me to supine(on the front) i had a massive pressure ulcer over my eyebrow, nothing was done to help me i also had 3 on my mouth, i have got terrible scars now and my eyebrow has no hair on it the scar is all of the length of the eyebrow, and my eye has a problem also, im going for compensation so i can have plastic surgery done to get rid of the scars because people think i have been in a car crash

  • These videos should be mandatory for "all" healthcare workes in every department because just about all move patients. Its rediculous in this day and time to still have so many preventable pressure ulcers. I'm glad Medicaid has that policy for payment. Where I worked before, the staff was too busy watching Geri Springer, talking on the phone, and smoking outside to care. I think partly because the didn't really understand.
