  • man thats good

  • I thought monks are supposed to not have any attachments?

  • Heavy.

  • Love this! What fun!

  • HI I Scott! We have so much fun playing Walt's music. It's a great mindfulness practice -- you have to be aware not only of what you are playing, but of what everyone else is playing. Will you be at the workshop in Portland this summer?

  • I see Dayna and DT and Sean. My middle school kids found this video and told me about it. It's Scott from the Hot Marimba class last summer. My kids are playing this too. Walt is coming to teach in my town this summer for a week. Hope to get more peoople teaching marimba here on the East Coast.

  • Really wonderful! I can't wait to see you all perform in person!

  • This is fantastic! I would love to experience playing Marimba!

  • Such joyous music!

  • If that's Zen you can sign me up. The conductor wails just like this bass player I knew from a band called lacka-something-or-other.

  • meditation is good in so many ways. oh yes. downloaded this vid from my hotel in chicago.

  • awesome! and check out that conductor! ; )

this is really good -- congrats to all you musical monks!

  • This is a fantastic, intense piece written by our marimba guru, Walt Hampton of Kennewick, Washington. We love it. Here we are playing for a conference of American Soto Zen teachers. They also loved it. ( Our conductor forgot his whistle, so he had to shout when it was time to change parts.)
