Rapping can be a way to show the testimony to god. Lecrae is doing exactly that, I have heard people say " How can there b a christian rapper?" Easy, one who loves to rap and endure in christ. It can show that person's love for god and helping many others. @LvsTheworld sorry but there is no such thing as the rapture. The rapture is known as when Jesus will come and only take the saved to heaven and the earth will still be as its form. That's not so becuz the bible says when Jesus comes there will be a great earthquake upon the earth. And the brightness of his coming will kill the lost. 2 Thess 2:8. @ikkin103 Im sorry but there is such thing as a rapture. There are many sub-stories throughout the bible that back up the fact that there will be a rapture. God's wrath will "passover" his children. Before the anti-christ can rise the salts of the earth must be removed along with the Holy Spirit. Us Christians are the salts. We are not appointed to his wrath.

@ikkin103 The rapture is a topic that is highly open to interpretation... that is, the time at which it happens, not its existence. A lot of people think that it happens before the Tribulation, others mid-Trib, others post-Trib.

It's like a Christian who sees an Ouija Board in the garbage. What if he decides to paint over it and call it an Angel Board instead? He then donates it to the youth group at his church? Should the church accept it? Although it's words and name have been altered, the FUNCTION of the game is still the same. Likewise, Hip Hop is inherently sinful, & cannot be made into something holy.

So-called Christian rappers want to live in the spirit while walking in THE FLESH. That's not what Galatians 5:25 tells us to do. The Bible says that those who LIVE in the spirit ( born again believers), MUST also WALK in the spirit. Romans 8:5 clearly condemns Hip Hop, "For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit." Hip Hop is clearly appealing to THE FLESH, not the spirit.

@LvsTheworld sorry but there is no such thing as the rapture. The rapture is known as when Jesus will come and only take the saved to heaven and the earth will still be as its form. That's not so becuz the bible says when Jesus comes there will be a great earthquake upon the earth. And the brightness of his coming will kill the lost. 2 Thess 2:8. Then what of Revalations and the fact that in the bible it say's by Jesus that the church will not be over come by Satan yet it clearly states that the Anti-Christ will make war against the saints and over come them the only logical thing would be for the "church" those who love Christ be removed. The time line of Revelation's make that clear because of the word medatouta(not sure how to spell this) which is the word for "After these things".

@ikkin103 Im sorry but there is such thing as a rapture. There are many sub-stories throughout the bible that back up the fact that there will be a rapture. God's wrath will "passover" his children. Before the anti-christ can rise the salts of the earth must be removed along with the Holy Spirit. Us Christians are the salts. We are not appointed to his wrath.

@ikkin103 The rapture is a topic that is highly open to interpretation... that is, the time at which it happens, not its existence. A lot of people think that it happens before the Tribulation, others mid-Trib, others post-Trib.

It is kind of the same for me, i say i love Jesus, but when i think about it do i really. I want to love Him, but it is hard to love someone if you dont have a relationship with them.
