@spikytesco I disagree, his voice to me is always maturing and he seems to change it from album to album, still has an amazing iconic metal voice.

The only thing missing is a strong vocal assault in the likes of Aces High on this album, other then that ....its great.

They beat pretty much any band on the market when every song is amazing .

Though track 7 and 9 sound a bit patched together with some parts sounding amazing and others not so awesome. I don't think they can actually write a bad song.

I really enjoyed the new album. The first half is like the non-greatest hits of Piece Of Mind or Powerslave and the second is like A Matter Of Life A Death or Brave New World. What Maiden have been doing since Brave New World is they've been focusing on making every song the same level rather than 2 songs be beyond words and the rest be ok like the 80's albums were. Don't expect a new classic song but prepare for a very good Iron Maiden album.

I like how you talk about the mixing of old styles; I hear Bruce solo album type stuff, No Prayer influence, sounds from X Factor and even some heavy Deep Purple riffing. It is not a first listen instantly love album (some songs are and you will know when you hear them) but it is satisfying album once your brain starts to memorize the content. It is also very lyrical and vocal driven at times. I do not know how Bruce is going to remember all those lyrics live?

The Final Frontier is amazing! I've been listening to it every day since it was released. Adrian Smith did a lot more song writting on this album and you can tell there is a big difference. It kind of remind me of Brave New World and A Matter Of Life and Death put together.

I fucking love this album, its so great, my favorite track is The talisman, it kinda reminds me of ancient mariner, but its got a great galloping beat, its so great.
