Accuracy helps but not at the expense of not learning how to HIT the ball with good spin and control. I've been playing for 6 years and I spent the first 4 trying to more or less moonball like this by only trying to apply topspin. I think it's crucial for these guys to try to lean into these shots a little more as they will actually get more consistent because they would be giving the other an easier ball to hit.
if thats the way they actually hit in a match they would get killed. half of there shots are floaters in the service box which is pretty much a kill shot
also the guy in the red shirt has a habit of hitting his shot and then watching it and not recovering back into position i couldnt see the other guy because of the camera angle. hope my points helped:)
this drill could be a bit more effective if the players are instructed to always hit their shot and then get back into the ready position most of the time they are just waiting for the ball facing side on to the side in which they are supposed to be hitting the ball in the drill. getting back into the ready position makes it much more realistic as you dont know where your opponent is going to hit the ball it could be to either side.
this is a great drill.
me and my wife do this for a good half hour or more every time before we play.

better teach them to drive through the ball instead of brushing up so much and moonballing

it would be so easier to get to 20 rallies if the guy in the white stops lobbing it.
