Blender for Beginners 14th Tutorial (Low Poly Chacter creation part 9 Unwrapping 2/2)

when i press unwrap, nothing happens. any suggestions as to how i could fix this?

Is that smoothed out?

@paleknight1 In the end it is yes. I'm sure I work with smooth on as well.

when i unwrap it comes out as only two pieces, the arm or foot, and then a figure 8 shape which i assume is the body.... what do i do?

@IIamachaser double check all of your seams and make sure they are located properly.

how can you save in edit mode? o.O

whan i press "control + s" there comes the shear option

The hot key for save should be "CTRL + W" it's different in blender. If that doesn't work you can always go to the top of your screen, select file, then save it from there!
