Pretty good game by the wallabies, despite the loss. They showed that the All Blacks defensive line can be broken and scattered and that the AB's can be shaken. If the Wallabies can keep applying pressure then they can beat the Ab's, next season though, probably not the Hong Kong Match. Scoring penalties goals and conversion points would definitely give them a winning edge

@KincumberBoy Did it ever occur to you that the ball was already out when Richie broke from the scrum? The ball doesnt have to come out via the number 8 to be considered "out". The ball actually came out via Brad Thorn and Richie positioned himself to make the ball look like it was still in the scrum (the ball was actually on the outside of Richie's right boot and therefore out). This was a well rehearsed play. Robbie Deans himself said it was " a clever move".

If you watch the footage from the touchline you can see Richie with two hands on Brad Thorn to block Elsoms view of the ball which came out from the second row. Richie and Reid pretend its still in before Richie times his breakaway to set himself up to score. The ball was out for about three seconds before Richie makes his run. Anyway, I guess that makes up for the penalty try which should have been awarded when Jane was tackled without the ball? :)
