Hehe. My playthrough of The Cauldron was similar to yours. After failing with Blaze/Percival many, many, many times I switched to Sonic and beat the level on my first try.

blaze is a godd ai all the time but otherwise she is pretty hard to use but like some said it is better to take it slow with blaze so if i get this game i will train. train hard so i can become a good player as blaze and every character.

The problem your having with blaze is that you are trying to fly through the level as fast as you can. In doing so, you are not being particularly careful, though that seems par the course for your playing style. Blaze seems designed for people to take her slower and to be used with cation, though that dose seem a bit strange for a sonic game. Man of those death could have been easily avoided if you took your time.

i could see someone doing good with blaze. theres normally a character thats hard to use and sucks, but like always, putting work into anything and you get good. if i get this game im gonna try to get good with blaze

I'm not that good, necessarily, with Blaze, but I like her more than Knuckles or Shadow.

I dunno why, honestly, since I went in with negative expectations, but I aced the Monolith level, and made it, within seeing distance of the goal, but screwed up in this level.

I guess I'm weird...
