I got pulled over on my bike by a cop in Northfield,MN, where I go to school. I'm a Chicagoan, and I will admit that I have violated just about every traffic law on my bike, even in front of cops and I've never been pulled over in Chicago. But in Northfield, the cop had me sit on the curb with my bike and wait 25 minutes for him to come back and let me off with a warning and say "don't they have laws in Chicago about bikers having to stop at stop signs?"

What I did: I was speeding on my bike, late for class, down a 2-lane street, and the cop car was stopped in front of me on my lane, so I went into the other lane to pass him. Then, there was a stop sign, but the intersection on my right was closed off for construction. I ran the stop sign and Officer Rob fired up the roof.
