Tip #1 = Get the 8.0.4 trial installer, not the one that is currently up for downloaded on the Ableton website. (Got mine from afterdawn(dot)com/software/aud­io_video/compose_music/ableton­_live.cfm but you can try any other place).

Tip #2 = To open the .auz file, open it with ableton, or drag and drop it on the ableton icon.
