It is part of the Nashville parks system. You have to have a permit to fly, which also requires AMA membership for insurance purposes. But you don't have to be a member of the AMA club based at the field. There are three RC airfields in the Nashville parks. I've flown at two of them, but I'm not a member of either AMA club.
