  • nice forward pass from rehab rog at da end robbed perpignan usual homer decisions

  • philip burger burnt them and hes south african. good shit. thats what 10.5 looks like (100m)

  • a typical munster win

waiting for the penalties and rolling ugly mauls like never

it's even more funny to see perpignan scored them 3 tries, as perpignan is considered as the "munster" team in France: A big and boring pack and a good kicker.

France, ireland, 2 ways to appreciate what is the rugby

  • @zisssssou you dont know how much time it takes to perfect the pick and go

  • AWSOME score

  • 4:00

  • 1:28 !!

  • One more thing.

    Your arrogance is astounding.

"To be proven wrong once in a while...."

Jesus, get a sense of humilty will you.

  • French rugby has flair, dash, and panache.

    But no balls, No cojones.

When the pressure is on they fold and collapse. A national characteristic, some might say.

  • BonuxColeur

    You know nothing about rugby.

    "One classy win"

Munster have a European pedigree that dwarfs that of USAP.

As for Ireland, they are doing just fine for a nation where rugby is thr FOURTH sport in terms of popularity.

Have some dignity in defeat for christssake. After all, as Kiwi-Frenchman you ought to be used to it after this year past.

4 defeats for the AB's, more for France.

    None for Ireland.

  • Are Perpignan really French champions? Munster made them look like a schoolboys team! Well done Munster!

  • Yeah right wait for the Six Nations when you take Mafi, Howlett, de Villiers and a few others out of the team, you will look like schoolboys. Other teams are no longer in construction, I would be surprise Ireland can put another one out of the hat. (one in a century that is... schoolboys you ;-)

  • Your pretty dumb, for a country with a population about 4 million similar to New Zealand, but 3 sports that would be ahead of rugby in terms of participation etc. very unlike New Zealand we do fine. Also You say take Mafi, Howlett and de Villers out of the picture, I think your forgetting Darcy, BOD, Luke Fitz, you may not have noticed cause your head was stuck somewhere but Irish rugby is doing just fine 3 competions entered this year (Magners League, Hcup, 6 nations) 3 Irish winners. Cop on

  • One international success in a century (plus one European and one domestic), something to be proud of but nothing to get cocky about... Besides the likes of BOD, O'Gara or O'Connell won't be here forever. This weekend Munster beats the likes of Yohan Vivalda (21 y.o.), Bertrand Guiry (21 y.o.) Yannick Parent (23 ans) and Maxime Mermoz (23 y.o.). Well done but make your own conclusion and don't expect that feat to happen again.

  • Truth is for a nation that plays Province rugby (as opposed to club rugby) you should be as good as the All Blacks given the availability of your players and the few games you have in a year. But your silverware shows otherwise pals, so don't get cocky with one Munster classy win (I admit that), their first in a long series of boring kicking/slowing the ball games.

  • Your showing a huge amount of ignorane, as I Leinster fan this pains me but look at Munsters European record and eat humble pie. As for Irish rugby we have plenty of youth coming through just look at some of the backs that went on the Lions tour all 4 provinces have good talent through. By the way Cocky is playing those youngsters you mentioned against a team like Munster and hoping to have a snowballs chance in hell of winning. Heart is not something you can teach Irish Rugby has it in spades!

  • @shayk7227 the match shuda bin played in thomond. but i obviously rooted for leinster tho.

  • @shayk7227 in the final that is i rooted for leinster tho

  • @BonuxCouleur actually win the competition first then get back to us

  • "Truth is for a nation that plays Province rugby (as opposed to club rugby) you should be as good as the All Blacks given the availability of your players and the few games you have in a year" How does that make sense when there are more people in Toulos then there are in the whole of Munster!? Our Silverware? What two H- Cups in 3 years and one Magners? There are only 4.5million people in Ireland and rugby is 4th sport! New Zealand and France both have AT LEAST 5times the amount Ireland does!?

  • Amount of rugby players that is. It seems you are an idiot. Not because you are arrogant or French but because you dont know what you are talking about. I suggest you go read some statistics of the "tiny" amount of people playing rugby in Ireland. Less players mean less competition for places so that should show the flaw in your Provincial rugby argument. Ireland could only dream of having the amount of Rugby players France and NZ does. But we still beat U you and your arrogance cant change it!

  • @jimboandu and we only got to the semis. that says something. hope we do it again this year. if we has tomas o l we would have defeated leinster. and the match should have been played in thomond am i right? but we agreed to play it in croker.

  • Do you really think one player would have changed that hammering??

  • BonuxCouleur.

    How does that feel?

    Goodbye Perpignan, goodbye Burger.

  • Well it actually feels good to be proven wrong once in a while, for the sake of the game that Munster usually refuse to play.

  • Did you miss the game in Perpignan?? lol

  • @rakeking , The Amlin Cup is a goog challenge for you ! Hy from Barcelona ^^

  • yupie you are not making any sense, USAP scored 3 tries, you don't manage that by kicking the ball all over the place like Munster does every time they enter the pitch. I want to see Munster getting thrashed by a team that runs the ball. Any team I don't care but this is rubbish rugby. People who don't know about rugby and watch that would go straight back to football.

  • Someone must be feelin a bit stupid today after Munsters spectacular display. Winning in spite of a truely horrible referee

  • Spot on dude. We humped them good. Ho Ho Ho!!

  • yupie when you have 70% of possession and don't score a single try, it precisely means you are doing nothing with the ball. In other words, Munster slowed down the ball and pretty much watched the clock ticking waiting for USAP to create and eventually feed on their mistakes. It is the kind of rugby that wins but does not deserve to. It is not ambitious, it is cynical and dull to watch.

  • hahahahahahah in your face :P 37 points 4 tries

  • Don't make me laugh like2surf, Munster are specialists in slowing down the ball, this is their bread and butter. This is how they won the Heineken against Stade Toulousain. At least USAP managed to score some good tries. O'Gara could well be back in the Irish jersey given his performance but Munster is one of those boring team that wins under the current format. I hope this year, a more ambitious team will win it like Leicester or Clermont.

  • @BonuxCouleur we scored more tries than anyone last year. wat u have to say bout that. oh and 4 yesterday. suck my balls frog

  • Rush defence plus up and unders, typical Munster gameplay, nothing else... Even the brilliant Doug Howlett looks like he could play for England or South Africa. It sickens me when a team that scores 3 tries against none ends up being the loser. The IRB should be looking at 2 points for penalties, and leave it 3 for drop goals (because you still need the technique to pass them between the post) and 5 for a try. That would force the likes of Munster and Cardiff Blues to PLAY the ball.

  • Burgers try was crazy . Dats surely try of the year

  • That second try was outrageous. He was bound to the ruck and then ran. You're not allowed do that. Although it was a great step from Durand.

  • Great hit by Howlett :D

  • Piodata, how exactly did USAP deserve to win it given that Munster had over 70% possession AND territory. Any time USAP did have the ball they kicked it away...

  • In H-cup the arbitrators leash the english,irish...win the match !

  • on behalf on new zealand - Wayne Barnes you are still a CUNT

  • agree, plus perpignan deserved that win.

  • Nah, Munster played the better rugby but USAP were constantly slowing down the ball, offside and distrupting Munster's game and they were punished for it in the end.

  • Bullshit..... you obviously didnt see the game in full

  • different opinions, dw.
