This tune and the album Gargantuan that its on, are the epitome of progressive house music. Too many artist these days that call their music "progressive house" are really doing super melodic progressive trance. Prog. house isn't emotional like prog. trance, it has pure groove and a more abstract version of regular house music.
The original progressive house and early trance scene of the early 90's was the most exciting time I have ever experienced in music, just out of this world!
We gave the new generation dance music like this and what have they made with it nowadays? scouse house/electro pop rubbish! what went wrong, this track alone beats anything hands down today and it was made in 1993.
On wiki they're saying trance/house made a wrong turn after this great period (mid 90's) I don't know exactly what that means or how it changed but will enjoy finding out as i listen to more and rediscover gems like this one ...
great one
