This is a great cover. While I still enjoy the original better, mainly because of the emotion Maynard pours into it, instrumentally this cover is as good as it gets, and I enjoy the different flavor the singer puts on it. So nah. Tool's my favorite band and even I can see how some could like this more.

This is one of my favorite Tool songs, and I think this cover does it justice. Sure, the singing could be better, but like 48hart said, he made it his own thing and it works. No matter how many times I hear this song, cover or original, I'm simply in awe at Maynard's lyrical writing.

As for tool covers not many good ones out there. This is one of the better ones. Great arrangement music. Singing is not great, but still very good as he tried to make it his own, I just found it a bit shaky in beginning but good finish. All in all great cover
