  • who uses denon ?

  • somebody plays something with lots of bass in the background

  • Ok guys, i'm not a Dj yet but I want to be one. Just a question: can you scratch on cd players? :3

  • @MrLordHasta

If you're talking about the 3700 absolutely, it has an authentic 9" vinyl surface controller so you can scratch impeccably. Other CDJ's in the market are designed similarly of course.

  • @neonchasm Which of those would you reccomend? Im after buying some CDJ... price makes me go mad though

  • im so pissed off cuz i cant find that damn blue vinlyl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • copied the technics bubble pattern on the platter. lame.

  • where do we get the blue vinyl?????????

  • tha part I don't undastand is why almost erbody switch'n to cdj, when they have them look'n like turntables?? aka Blaze

  • @analher Because Cdj's use cd's, vinyl turntables dont.

  • @PhychoStylez Technically yor rite, but that's not the ans. I'm look'n 4... Let me try it again, why are they make'n cdj's look like turntables...Too much money is being wasted on nonsense...aka Blaze

  • @analher Oh. Well mabye because Dj's like the feel and look of vinyl, but like all the functions and flexablity of a CDJ.

  • did i just hear, motorized platter??? ^^

  • where can i buy new vinyl colours for the dns 3700??

  • I like this turntable, but i have a question:

    Why is it shining blue??

Can you turn on and off this light?

I hope somebody can answer me

Sorry, i cant speak english so good, im german

  • Hello, it's not a light, it's the colour of the vinyl. You can change it back to black or whatever colour you want.

  • Thank you for the answer, but

is there any spotlight or is that shining normal

pleeeease answer i want to buy this turntable in a few minuits and i eant to know that

  • Sorry i mean i WANT to know that

    please amswer fast

    thank you

  • No, no spotlight shining... just the colour of the vinyl :)

I am also going to be buying 2 in a few weeks :D

Let me know how it is when you get it :D

  • Thank you so much

the store send me that. I will get it on wednisday

and the vinyl is inclusiv in the box right?

    Im so happy xDD

  • When you get the vinyl will be black... but you can buy more colours :D

  • I have saw a video where a dj told that the blue vinyl is iclusive

  • denon really likes to copy pioneer hardcore.

  • Its funny you say that coz most of the stuff pioneer has was created by Denon first. But i still prefer Pioneer.

  • design wise I meant.

  • Ahhh tru

  • Dude reason rocks!

  • wow looks fresh :D

why does the platter glow blue yet in pictures of it it is black?

  • That is special edition blue vinyl. It will be available for purchase down the road - the first few people that buy will get them for free.

  • agiprodj have u tried it with Serato yet?

  • TIMECODE DOES NOT CUT IT ANYMORE.. It's old news... all you have to do is just plug in 2 usb cables to your laptop with these!

  • Actually, native support for Serato Scratch LIVE will be down the road. Right out of the box, you will have to use timecode CDs. I cant see a single reason why this would have any issues with Scratch LIVE. DENONs other tabletop players work well with it. Hope this answers your question djca2010

  • You can also use the Serato time code on a thumbdrive. (no cd needed).

  • You don't have to use the Serato time code on cd. Just put the code on a thumbdrive, and then plug it into the deck. The deck will read the Serato time code signal directly from the thumbdrive.

  • in the us, the MAP price is $1,499 on a CDJ-1000MK3 and $899 for the DN-S3700.

  • It's well over priced in the UK - MAP being £899 aprox $1339 usd! Day light robbery if ask me..!

  • the DN-S3700 will be available in a few weeks. the MAP price is $899. we have a limited number on order as the entire first shipment is already sold. call us to pre-order yours. [866-PRO-MIXX]

  • how comes you sell it for $899 and the same player you can buy today inone of UK shops for about 889 pounds?

  • It will be cheaper than $899. thats the lowest the can asvertise. "Minimum Advertised Price" or MAP. you need to call thenm to see your price. These guys are great though. Low prices AND authorized dealer. You cant go wrong trust me, IM a satisfied customer and will get my Dj stuff from them.

  • It not a low price though is it... I think denon have missed a trick here - A pair in the UK will set you back £1900 more or less that's £400 more than a pair of 1000 mk3's!Lets be honest who is going to splash that sort of money on an un-proven product?

Denon should have priced it just below the 1000's if there seriously putting this up there with industry standard deck.

  • 100% true!why I have to spend more if Denon was always cheaper than Pio???I have to wait untill more of shops start to sell them,or buy from us and voltage transformers 110/230V

  • Interesting point. First - you are comparing US to UK prices. People in the US cant buy from the UK and get any warranty and vicaversa. Secondly, if I do the conversion rate, the DN-S3700 are $899MAP in the us which works out to $1298 based on the exchange rate today. You cant compare UK prices with US prices. An authorized US dealer cant advertise below MAP pricing. It looks like in the UK they dont enforce the whole map thing. I saw the 3700 and it looks AWESOME.

  • Dont get me wrong it looks amazing! It's just dj equipment be it Pioneer - Technics - Denon is always so much more in the UK than US.

  • you said it and it pisses me off so hard. macook air 1100 pounds, 1350 dollars, grrrrrrrrrr?

  • collerd 9 inch vinyl's alreddy exsist so you can get a collerd plato.

what my is intresting how mutch is it ganne cost..

and it is now soo dificcult forr me 2 chose between the 3700 and the 5500..

btw the 3700 is a 1 channel player not a 2 channel player.

it realy looks sick and the scratch function also looks totaly crazzy.

cant wait 2 trie it out ;);)

  • The blue 9 inch vinyl looks sicckkkkkkk!

Are there color options for the vinyl controller that comes with the DNS3700??

  • A limited number of the first DN-S3700 owners are going to get blue vinyl as a free promo. After that, they will be available to buy.

  • thats sick

do you know the map on this?

its looks good now lets hope its not like the dns3500

  • That is tight! I can't way to see more of it! Denon Rules! #1
