It takes a long time to get to that stage where you have your technique together enough along with dynamic range to be relaxed. The strength does need to be developed, endurance as well, but it's not something everyone can automatically do day one.

I am no Jojo but try the best I can to understand the musical/phyisical relationships, I just think a lot of the people who are into music might be good but put ego and attitude far ahead of the emotional and cultural value of the music...I'm sure you get it too. I wish I had the time to practice as much as Jojo....We should chat about drumming...I love it more than life!!

I don't care much for neve, look at his discography, he has played with many great musicians.

Also, if you are a drummer, check out his "Secret Weapons for the Modern Drummer" DVD - even if you are not interested in fancy technique (like me) this is one of the most important lessons you can get about hand technique.

I don't find JoJo's technique fancy at all...in fact I actually use a little bit of his foot technique and the Moller/JoJo Technique....Plus Nerve is a great D&B group! But you're entitled to your opinion
