@a211pc I don't think so. As far as I know, he isn't even married right now. The actor is Scott Whyte. The cool thing (if you didn't know) about him is that he played Gunner Stahl in D2 and then he also played Scooter in D3. If you remember, Scooter was Julie "The Cat" Gafney's love interest.

The story was slated to be that Charlie is now the coach of the District 5 Minn. Pee-Wee Hockey team, and brings in Gordon to help him turn the "new" Ducks around into contenders. Similar to the first movie, but the project never really got off the ground. Several script treatments were written, but none were approved.

Banks is taking in all the preasure of scholarships and talent scouts clearly having a dream about the NHL where as Charlie has something to fall back on, and Bank's would have something to lose. He think's if he can't play Hockey then he'd be nothing at all, Charlie doesn't fit that role anymore since he grew up in the series mostly.
