There is an Article on Starkington post Where Perdo Claims he picked up the deck by accdient, and Gave it back to the Owner later this night...I wasn't there.. so it hard for me to pass Judemgment,, but i thought id bring up his article in the intrest of fairness

Two questions:

1) Did you ever get the cards back?

2) It seems like you are choosing not to answer the question on whether you will press charges. I understand that in the comments you see a lot of radical (and probably justified) individuals claiming he should be brought to justice. At least make it obvious whether or not something (DCI or otherwise) was done.

I got the cards back.

I'm not filling police charges as I won't be able to. What are they going to do? I got the cards back and he's not arguing that he stole them or not so there's nothing the authorities can do. I am however, waiting to hear back from the DCI.

If he actually meant to steal your cards, you definitely need to out him not just with your store, but nationally (this youtube video is terrific). He goes to TCG tournaments, so I can definitely see him doing to that a lot of other people unless you do something about it.

If not, get this guy banned from the DCI. You may not want to take it to the cops, but you owe it to every other magic player out there to not let this guy get away with card theft.

10% of people will never steal, 10% of people will always steal, 80% of people will steal if given an opportunity. You should watch your stuff more closely, but that obviously doesn't excuse his behavior. That should be an 18 month dci ban IMO.

That's weird. I had a dream literally just last night that my UW deck with 4 JTMS, 3 Gideon's 2 Venser got stolen by some little kid.

I actually woke up and checked my deck to make sure it was there.

@sjb0926 It was a RUG deck, 4x JTMS, 8x Fetchlands, 4x Cobra, 3x Frost titan and an avenger of zendikar bring the base price, excluding commons, uncommons, and basic lands, to about $550.

I am curious as to a couple of things before I formulate an opinion...

First, why did you leave YOUR deck just chilling on the table by someone elses stuff when you seemed ready to leave? Was this an attempt at trying to actually catch him doing something? Or was this your oversight as well and just happened to get lucky with video footage?

Also I will assume this is real security footage from the shop unless you post otherwise. Why else would you post something "outting" this person?

@Rickits24 I left my deck due to my oversight, that was my fault of leaving it out, but I figured, wrongly, that since I was surrounded by people that I see all the time that it would be seen and given to me. I never expected this to happen.
