  • I don''t have any kids and i basically want to fuck this place up before i go.

  • Hey keep it up on your side of the pond. You have allies here in America that have got your backs.

  • Ha ha to all of you useless bunch of wankers who work for DEFRA, because Mr Cameron has cut your funding and some of you will loose your jobs in you're cosy little offices.

  • Comment removed

  • don't forget the 'CO2 calculator' that cost loads...David Miliband was pushing for this at the time...cost a lot of money and i don't know anyone that ever used it...

  • I comprehend that Defra wasted several Million £ (& produced a lot of CO2 in the process) for those Public-awareness-campaigns; which they could have spend on installing, e.g. Wind-turbines, which would have made a real difference.

  • @flyby2300 You fukin moron, a real difference, pathetic loser. PLANTS BREATH CARBON and release oxygen, we breathe oxygen and exhale carbon. It follows temps, temp does not follow carbon. A real diff would be free energy projects, but most of the fukin ppl still believe the combustion engine is the cutting edge.

  • "Right2no" - I am glad they are spending the money on important stuff like teaching the kids how to spell.

  • The video starts "Ever thought what you could buy with £8.6m"?

They could also ask the same about the £27BILLION wasted on failed PFI projects or the £3BILLION wasted on Iraq or the £1.5TRILLION spent bailing out poorly run private companies like banks etc.

£8.6m is a click of the finger in the timeline of this government's waste (doesn't make it any less bad though!)

  • Carbon dioxide, a benign, life giving molecule has been miscast by a world wide political movement to be an environmental hazard in what

will soon be discovered to be the hoax of the century. This molecule, CO2 is vital to all life on earth. It is exhaled by all living

things and even comes from nocturnal emissions by plants. It forms the bubbles in your soda, wine and beer. Standard air has 370 parts

per million (PPM) of carbon dioxide of which 93% comes from "natural sources"

  • @RomeoMD25 You seem to have misunderstood the environmentalists' claim: no-one would argue that CO2 is a harmful chemical in itself, the problem with emitting large quantities of it is that it gets into the atmosphere and reflects heat that would have otherwise escaped into space back down to Earth, thus warming the planet.

  • @danielsanderson49 There is absolutely no evidence it does that. Secondly, even the scientists that do agree say it is minuscule. In fact, the summit occurring in Cancun is down 2/3 in attendance due to revolt by scientists. In the last year alone the weight of the scientists dissent has tipped the scales of the scientists still in the camp. The IPCC defectors are now coming clean about the political scheme. The world has been scammed. It is a wealth transfer. An elitists scheme.

  • @SuperGuitarman69 Let's try to be reasonable: regardless of whether or not you believe the carbon that humans are emitting is helping to warm the planet, there is plenty of evidence that carbon in the atmosphere has a warming effect. Even the scientists who are climate sceptics would concede that carbon dioxide is a 'greenhouse gas', i.e. that without its presence in the atmosphere the earth would be cooler. The question is whether human emissions are adding to this natural warming effect.

  • @danielsanderson49 The problem is not the effects of warming. It is a very small effect. The problem is politics. You must look at the "goals" within the political construct of this whole thing. Therein lies the truth of still of this.

  • @SuperGuitarman69 OK, fair enough, I can see what type of argument you're offering here...but why not spell it out for me? Who do you think is secretly driving this thing? For decades people have made pots of money by convincing us to buy things we don't really need - consumerism is based on people buying stuff. But the green movement is telling us we need to consume less, so who's benefitting from this 'elitist's scheme'? All I can see are scientists honestly reporting an uncomfortable fact.

  • @SuperGuitarman69 Well said!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The main reason that people are skeptical about Climate Chage is because of our Government. EG they slap £40 surcharge on Long Haul flights because it's bad for the environment. The truth is they don't give a fuck but see an ideal opportunity to rape us for more cash. I paid the £40 but when i got back took 246,6757 cans of hair spay and emptied the fuckers into the Ozone.

  • Excellent video. Gets the message across great.

  • good stuff

  • The problem with getting this particular message across in this way is that it largely appeals to the converted. I would guess that less than one in twenty of the adult population would even know what the initials DEFRA stood for...

  • £295,000 for that game? I know libraries can be expensive, but that looks like they've just copied-and-pasted some amateur's code from the internet!

  • And Labour politicians wonder where the Tory 'cuts' will come! This is only one of many, many organisations and departments who are spewing out this stuff for fun. But other people's money is sooo easy to spend isn't it?

  • These low-quality videos look like they were prepared by 6th-Form students! Why are they so ****ing expensive?!

"Oh, but Tax pays for Teachers and Nurses..."

No it isn't! It buys tosh like this.

  • Can you guys post this video as a response to that stupid Carbon Weevil crap, so it's linked from the Carbon Weevil vid's page (and do the same for the other green vides menioned). I just tried, but it only gives me the option of uploading my own videos in reply.

  • Just as worrying: why are sunglasses only a fashion accessory for the rich and famous? The coincidence of green meets trots I reckon.

  • That's the state for you...
