  • StrongmanJoshua, I am 14, and I currently squat 370. I want to build up to 500lbs in the next year. Many of the guys at my school do "the juice", but I am clean. Any tips? They would be greatly appreciated

  • Squat more, eat healthy, and don't neglect your sleep. Squatting 500lbs won't come easy for any 14-15 year old, drugs or no drugs.

  • thanks. Yes, I know it's quite ambitious, lol I want to get my total weight for a lift-a-thon up to about 1200lbs. I've been doing "Pyramids" You know...low weight, crazy large amount of reps. Lots of protein too...but I can't seem to get past about 390 for one rep. Thanks again for the tips

    I am a college student (Eckerd College) in the St. Pete/Tampa area who is a serious lifter and is interested in training and eventually competing in strongman training.  I noticed you live in Tampa. Do you know of any strongman training facilities in the area? Any help would be appreciated.
