good concept but it wouln;t work because the magnetic poles aren't straight like most people think they are curved and bent, look up "Flux Trap effect" and research Steel Shields, it'll help alot.

Up to now I have no proof for the concept. I built a prototype model from Lego Technic and the interesting thing about it is its asymmetry. It turns easier in one than in the other direction. As I've checked it seems to have no mechanical issue.
