I heard Tony Alamo on the radio and was horrified by what he was saying. He definitely does not exhibit the fruits of the Spirit when he speaks his 'gospel'. He is filled with hate, anger and venom so I'm not suprised this has happened to Tony. May God have mercy on this man, grant him faith and repentance unto life. Thanks for the comment. "God is a myth" well, that's untrue. in 1997 I had a very powerful experience with God and it changed my life completely. it was totally unexpected and i remember my jaw was on the ground because i couldnt believe the reality of God existed like that.

Tony Alamo supports and practices polygamy. The requirement for being an overseer or elder in a local church is to be the husband of one wife. By definition, he should not be a pastor/elder/overseer of any local church.

Look up that verse and study it with the Strong's Concordance. That word "ONE" can also mean "A" and "1st" which makes more sense. in other words you have to be married to be a leader of the church, period. Why would Paul only give that instruction of "one wife" to certain leaders? why wasnt it a blanket commandment for all? It doesnt make sense.

Tony really preaches the whole bible and not just the smooth and comfortable parts. Also, Tony never asks for money. And rarely even touched upon tithing. Although, one can't omit the teaching completely. it is scriptural. The people of God are supposed to tithe to a work of God.
