they didnt f*ck around with the music in this game. ITS ONLY CHEERFUL MUSIC IN A TOWN OR IN THE FIGHT WITH RIVAL because they USED to understand the serious elements of a battle. rival is basically your friend, so it qualifies, but it has some serious battle elements. they know how to make music.
For all the people who hate on all the new pokemon and shit, The only reason you hate on the new pokemon is that you gotten too old for pokemon, If you want to play the old pokemon games, You have firered and leftgreen for that, Leave the new gen for the real fans of pokemon............

I think what makes people hate on the newer Generations (IV onwards) is that they don't have that 'vibe' the previous Pokemon games had. Personally I've noticed this, but I think the games keep getting better with every Generation. Or maybe it's simply because others can't accept change in things. Lol just saying

God, I hate waiting for Pokemon games to come out in the US. Why are we so many months behind Japan. With something as huge as Pokemon, you think Nintendo would devote a huge amount of resources to getting these games translated quickly.
I own at least one game from every gen starting from 1. Though 2nd gen is my fav gen, I have to say the most fun ive had battling was in 3rd gen with sapphire, emerald, with the gym leader rematches and battle frontier and colosseum and XD:Gale of darkness, HANDS THE FUCK DOWN
0:52 is awesome! I love that bass, it's epic! Plus, this is probably the only trainer battle music that I don't get tired of hearing. RSE = Uber win! Can't wait for the remakes...
This region will now, and forever, have the most fitting battle muscle in all of pokemon games. Not too repetitive (GSC), and not too far over the top (BW), but has enough enough build up so that you can still jam while listening to your guys beat the tar out of the other guy's team.
And how can you honestly not love that tense build up at 0:47 and nice finishing climax at 1:10? XD
lol I think this is my favourite trainer theme since the DPPt one sounds depressing and the GSC one is getting repetitive on my playthrough of Crystal.
@ShadowAceX That's why I loved RSE , it improved the battle system on Pokemon . Natures and Abilities brought competitive play . I'm glad BW brought triple battles .

By far the best generation, D/P/Pt sucked in my eyes, i dislike Sinnoh and the Pokemon didn't look like Pokemon at all. The new fighting system i good tho.
I don't understand why people hate the new games so much.
Sure pokemon isn't what it used to be, but the games are longer and much more challenging than RBY (which only took about a day to finish - not including catching all the pokemon).
An interesting thought: If Pokemon like Dugtrio, Magneton, Electrode, Muk, etc were introduced in Gen III(Or Gen IV or V for that matter) would they have been used as "proof" of the so called drastic decrease in creativity in Pokemon after Gen III(Which completely untrue).
If you answered yes, then you are correct. The Pokemon I listed are easily the worst designed Pokemon of the bunch but none of the GEN I/Gen II fanboys one will say that because since they are Gen I Pokes, they cant be hated
@RandalfElVikingo If the pokemon I listed were from Gen V they would be as hated and criticised for being uncreative. There is no doubt that every single Pokemon from Gen V that we know except the Gear Pokemon has MUCH BETTER design than those which I listed.

Is it me, or do many of you Gen 3 Lovers get offended by EVERYTHING everyone says bad about it? Seriously, my only gripe with Gen 3 was that they added the nature system which broke the game, horribly, and the fact that you were FORCED to buy FR and LG for nothing just so you could get other stuff that should've been in the games, considering that the majority of shit was missing. Seriously, Gens 3 and 4 were just boring...to be honest, I don't think Gen 5 will please the "hardcore" fans..

Where do natures take place in other RPG's? Unlike other ones that you could actually CHOOSE which stats to upgrade and lower for that character's benefit unlike the natures that were random and made a lot of pokemon useless, thus making you go back and catch the same thing over and over until you got what you wanted was pretty sad on Gamefreak's part. Like I said-every Gen 3 Lover gets offended over anything someone says. I
@NewZen41 i believe natures gave you the feeling that each pokemon are different even if its the same one. Other RPGs do have the ability to choose but some others dont sure they dont have "natures" but i do beleive there are some RPGs ive played before that are similar to natures but are obviously not called the same thing.
I've played a lot of RPG's, and the not one have I seen use a system that's close to the nature system.-Maybe if they allowed the system to work like other RPSs-choosing what stats to power up instead of letting the nature do all of the work? That's one of the main gripes I face, especially when one wants to be competitive-yes, there's replay value, but it's too time consuming(raising the pokemone back to Lv. 100, raising it's EVs with Vitamans, which cost money, etc. etc.)
@grayfox3635 On top of that grayfox, "forced" to buy FR and LG were necessary in order to get the starters, exclusives, and other items one wanted in order to complete the game-cheating isn't legitimate, so yes, you WERE forced to buy them if you wanted to complete the pokedex on R/S/E. In reference to Gen 3, I'm discussing my OPINION on R/S/E. It's actually sad you got offended over my opinion of a boring Generation, much less, a game series..

Good...trust me, I've met a lot of sensitive people who've been offended when one says Pokemone either sucks(which is complete BULL) or what Gen's better than the other. Like I said, my only faults lied with the way Gen 3 was made-I understand Gamefreak wanted to make more enhancements and features to make the game more challenging and open-winded, but what's the point if half of the members of your party suffer because their main stat is lowered, plus, why can't I catch more?!XD

In all honesty, Hoenn was actually the best region to me,(don't see why everyone says Johto is...), simply because it was, well, "empathetic". Even though Gen 3 is my least fav, I loved it's music, new sprites, and some of the newer Pokemon-like I said, just didn't like the fact a lot of older ones were gone..-Heh, Blaziken, Sceptile, and Rayquaza also appeared from here, so how can I hate it? I just don't find it appealing too much, but like any new addition, it has charm. =P
Each game got it's own Cons and Pros. Red, Green, Blue and Yellow were the ones that started the whole Pokémon World. Gold, Silver and Crystal introduced the bases to important game elements such as breeding. Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald introduced more roleplayability to the game and enhanced features. Diamond, Pearl and Platinum brought back the Day Cycle and intoduced Worldwide Trades, Battles and Events.
I don't know why people are hatin on hoenn? I personally think it was the best! The music especially. I mean the music i think had a little more class but could still remain awesome!
I jizzed myself when I found out that I sent out my two of my Pokemon at the same battle! This is what twins are for! Not like in G/S/C where you battle twins and they sent out one Pokemon at a time.
It seems alot of us like Hoenn region music the best. It's simple why... Hoenn music is upbeat, grand, and epic. The other regions (except Sinnoh) have upbeat, electronica, chaotic music. IMO, grand and epic beats upbeat chaos.
Honestly Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald were some of the best pokemon games in my opnion. Not as good as G/S/C mind you, but they had a certain new look to them and some cool new pokemon and possibly the best soundtrack of any game.

R/S/E
R/B/Y
D/P/Pl
This doesn't mean D/P/Pl were bad, just not my favorites. I grew up with R/S/E and S/G/C, so trolls, just suck it. These were good games.
Its funny, as far as my favorite gens i rate them like this 1) G/S/C/HG/SS 2) R/B/Y/FR/LG 3) D/P/Pt 4) R/S/E But then when i rate for best music overall, it changes to: 1) R/S/E 2) G/S/C/HG/SS 3) R/B/Y/FR/LG 4) D/P/Pt So yeah, definetly this game was epic win for music, i just couldn't get into the game as much as i did the others.
I never really liked the Hoenn region. I like the music overall but it's just not that exciting. The teams didn't really impress me and there wasn't many places to explore or anything that spectacular. For instance, You couldn't go to certain places in Sinnoh without beating the Elite Four. (I think Sinnoh is the second best region and Kanto/Johto are the best)
Oh, god. As much as I like this track, I hear it every time I go check "The ULTIMATE Mario vs. Luigi" for comments. I can already hear the "C-C-C-C-COMBO BREAKER!!"... OH, GOD, MAKE IT STOP. Besides that, great upload. This is probably where I even downloaded the song for the video in the first place, but, that was a while, & I don't remember.

I don't understand why people hate the new games so much.
Sure pokemon isn't what it used to be, but the games are longer and much more challenging than RBY (which only took about a day to finish - not including catching all the pokemon).
But GSC will always be my favorite ;)

An interesting thought: If Pokemon like Dugtrio, Magneton, Electrode, Muk, etc were introduced in Gen III(Or Gen IV or V for that matter) would they have been used as "proof" of the so called drastic decrease in creativity in Pokemon after Gen III(Which completely untrue).
If you answered yes, then you are correct. The Pokemon I listed are easily the worst designed Pokemon of the bunch but none of the GEN I/Gen II fanboys one will say that because since they are Gen I Pokes, they cant be hated

@RandalfElVikingo If the pokemon I listed were from Gen V they would be as hated and criticised for being uncreative. There is no doubt that every single Pokemon from Gen V that we know except the Gear Pokemon has MUCH BETTER design than those which I listed.

@RandalfElVikingo I'm not saying that the designs of Diglett, Magnemite, Voltorb and Grimer suck. Those are interesting designs. In fact, I really like the concept of Voltorb and magnetmite. But the designs of their evolutions are just pathetic. Magnezone looks cool though.

Is it me, or do many of you Gen 3 Lovers get offended by EVERYTHING everyone says bad about it? Seriously, my only gripe with Gen 3 was that they added the nature system which broke the game, horribly, and the fact that you were FORCED to buy FR and LG for nothing just so you could get other stuff that should've been in the games, considering that the majority of shit was missing. Seriously, Gens 3 and 4 were just boring...to be honest, I don't think Gen 5 will please the "hardcore" fans..

@NewZen41 i think YOU just got bored of the series i hope you know that it wasnt really necessary to have to buy FR and LG and even if it was i dont really see the problem here they were remakes of how pokemon began and they were amazing i loved it an it felt really nostalgic and im positives others agree. Also to be honest by adding Natures in Pokemon it made it feel a little more like an RPG which is what pokemon is.

Where do natures take place in other RPG's? Unlike other ones that you could actually CHOOSE which stats to upgrade and lower for that character's benefit unlike the natures that were random and made a lot of pokemon useless, thus making you go back and catch the same thing over and over until you got what you wanted was pretty sad on Gamefreak's part. Like I said-every Gen 3 Lover gets offended over anything someone says. I

@NewZen41 i believe natures gave you the feeling that each pokemon are different even if its the same one. Other RPGs do have the ability to choose but some others dont sure they dont have "natures" but i do beleive there are some RPGs ive played before that are similar to natures but are obviously not called the same thing.

I've played a lot of RPG's, and the not one have I seen use a system that's close to the nature system.-Maybe if they allowed the system to work like other RPSs-choosing what stats to power up instead of letting the nature do all of the work? That's one of the main gripes I face, especially when one wants to be competitive-yes, there's replay value, but it's too time consuming(raising the pokemone back to Lv. 100, raising it's EVs with Vitamans, which cost money, etc. etc.)

@grayfox3635 On top of that grayfox, "forced" to buy FR and LG were necessary in order to get the starters, exclusives, and other items one wanted in order to complete the game-cheating isn't legitimate, so yes, you WERE forced to buy them if you wanted to complete the pokedex on R/S/E. In reference to Gen 3, I'm discussing my OPINION on R/S/E. It's actually sad you got offended over my opinion of a boring Generation, much less, a game series..

Good...trust me, I've met a lot of sensitive people who've been offended when one says Pokemone either sucks(which is complete BULL) or what Gen's better than the other. Like I said, my only faults lied with the way Gen 3 was made-I understand Gamefreak wanted to make more enhancements and features to make the game more challenging and open-winded, but what's the point if half of the members of your party suffer because their main stat is lowered, plus, why can't I catch more?!XD

@NewZen41 yea i do agree some people kinda take things to the next level when someone makes fun of a region they like and even though im a huge fan its sad to see people get offended like that, I just think people should stay in control when reading a remark on a region someone dislikes i mean its not like your gonna change their mind so whats the point. To me though i like all the regions equally and each one has their own pros and cons im sure you may disagree but its what i think =)

In all honesty, Hoenn was actually the best region to me,(don't see why everyone says Johto is...), simply because it was, well, "empathetic". Even though Gen 3 is my least fav, I loved it's music, new sprites, and some of the newer Pokemon-like I said, just didn't like the fact a lot of older ones were gone..-Heh, Blaziken, Sceptile, and Rayquaza also appeared from here, so how can I hate it? I just don't find it appealing too much, but like any new addition, it has charm. =P

Each game got it's own Cons and Pros. Red, Green, Blue and Yellow were the ones that started the whole Pokémon World. Gold, Silver and Crystal introduced the bases to important game elements such as breeding. Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald introduced more roleplayability to the game and enhanced features. Diamond, Pearl and Platinum brought back the Day Cycle and intoduced Worldwide Trades, Battles and Events.

It seems alot of us like Hoenn region music the best. It's simple why... Hoenn music is upbeat, grand, and epic. The other regions (except Sinnoh) have upbeat, electronica, chaotic music. IMO, grand and epic beats upbeat chaos.

Honestly Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald were some of the best pokemon games in my opnion. Not as good as G/S/C mind you, but they had a certain new look to them and some cool new pokemon and possibly the best soundtrack of any game.

This doesn't mean D/P/Pl were bad, just not my favorites. I grew up with R/S/E and S/G/C, so trolls, just suck it. These were good games.

I never really liked the Hoenn region. I like the music overall but it's just not that exciting. The teams didn't really impress me and there wasn't many places to explore or anything that spectacular. For instance, You couldn't go to certain places in Sinnoh without beating the Elite Four. (I think Sinnoh is the second best region and Kanto/Johto are the best)
