It was also mentioned by one of his crew member that he had Haoshoku Haki. But we never saw him using it, because of his old age and illness state.

Here's a thought: I think Jewelery Bonnie cared a lot about Whitebeard / Ace since she was crying so much watching the battle. Also she wanted to seek out Bleackbeard and make him pay for what he did. Now the idea: since she can obviously alter the age of people (until we learn more about her Devil's Fruit power) what if she went to aid the Whitebeard pirates by using her power to make Whitebeard younger again? Think how powerful he was when he was younger, what if he was again during the war?
