Matter that makes up the universe has always existed, before the big bang it was in a different form.
There is plenty of evidence for the big bang such as left over radiation, and the fact galaxies are moving away from a single point (where the big bang explosion took place)
Also, the total energy of the Universe is calculated to be 0, as the sum of all gravitational forces, measured as negative, cancel out the energy. Therefore, the Universe could just as well not exist and not break the law of conservation of energy (or so I've read... in a scientific journal).
Do you even know what the word "Faith", even means? It means belief in something that is not based on evidence or logical proof. Atheism is the lack of belief in a god, therefore does not require "faith". Evolution, and the Big Bang Theory are scientific theories, NOT atheism.Stop confusing them with atheism. Science agrees that the Universe had a beginning and has an order, thus it should have had an architected cause (The Law of Causality). It could NOT have had a random act of collision or expansion. God on the other hand, to answer your question, is NOT an effect, He is ETERNAL, thus does NOT need a cause.
@ss1utube im guessing from your video you don't keep up on the ideas of of physics, as an atheist who takes great consideration trying to understand the our universe and how it works, i can pretty much get the idea that you lack the general understanding of a our universe having a beginning. to say are universe came from nothing isn't what scientists believe. the consensus is starting to turn towards m-theory and how our universe of 3 dimensions plus a fourth dimension being time was .......
