Pletnev has it all: the colours, fantasy and singing tone of Horowitz (and his quiet posture). the control and perfection in execution of Michelangeli. the Individualism and courage to discover new things of Pogorelich.

hes always trying to produce sounds and little dramatic phrases, as if evrything is artificial. maybe he is more fascinated by piano playing than the actual composition?
