Tell them how wrong they are and you can even tell them how unprofessional I am, I don't want to hear smart people who know so much more than me even if you have not even done a wedding,,, God take me soon!

@chirantha Not only that Chirantha, but I have done so many weddings I know the timing by heart. I can fix cameras, check for batteries. I can do so much and not miss a single thing. I am a professional, much like a police man a swat team member. I know how important this is so I have the trainning to do this and so much more. It's impossible for peopel to understand when they have no idea of the timing. How can someone jugle chain saws,,, because they know they won't get hurt!

Do you think people would love to hear someone talking about something completely unrelated to the ceremony (even if it's related, no one would want to hear it)? @blackneno I can only say what I know for sure. You don't understand my job or what I do and what I am doning here. The peopel could not hear at all what I was saying, I was using a wireless mic. What that is is a,,,, why do I waste my time with people like you who are so limited on their understanding of a profession but more so people who thing they know it all! You don't and I knwo what I am doing here and is perfectly fine, respecful and did not miss nothing.

This is what I said:

Most like to shoot with flash and fill flash. I like to shoot with ambiance light even though I may not get the 100% full lit subjet. The reason I like to shot with ambiance light is because the shadows give my images a sense of feeling of the situation, the light that was there the tempeture of the light that was there and that conveys the feelings of the moment. Yes I don't get full light on my subjects faces but character to me is more important. Do your thing!

Once someone told me I didn't use flash 'cause I was an amateur XD Actually it's just like you said, shadow, ambiance, what was there around me at this precise moment. And for the full light on your subject's faces. I bought something really nice, it's called a bouncer. round and portative, if needed i put it on the darkened side of the face and it brighten it a little.

No te rias, pero por ahora solo tengo una canon powershot sx20, nada que ver con la que tu manejas pero la tengo bien equipada (flash EX 420, difusor 2 de Gary Fong, telefoto y filtro UV. Esta camara es muy lenta con el flash, alguien me dijo que debia sincronizar mi camara en manual y debia tomar fotos en no menos de /160. La sincronización es mejor pero aun le falta. Podrias...

Your point of view is addecuate; it's up to the lighting in the venue and the PERSONAL PREFERENCE of the photographer. Both situations yield different results. I actually do both most of the time. Te podría asegurar que esos comentarios vienen de gente latina, que en vez de dar un criticismo constructivo, se enfocan en hacer menos al prójimo. Entiendo tu estrategia de luz natural y es muy buena la técnica ya que yo al igual la aplico en ocasiones para preservar la luz ambiental. here it is: I don't use flash even though I get some shadows. In my view shadows give characther. So we give up a bit of light quality but we gain it in the character of the image which at times is best. Learn the amounts of light from the 4 basica angles you will shot and remember them so you can adjuts on the move. Flash is good no flash is also very good and gives it a character only ambiance light can give. Only for you mi nice amigo!
