  • excelent sound

  • Hit the button again :P lol whyd you say that?

  • dont model 5,s have induction motors?

  • The model 5s I have are single phase and use repulsion induction motors.

  • Damn i thought model 5's were as big as model 2's... but apparently not

  • And what gave you that idea? lol

  • They're a good bit biggER than Model 2s!

  • @MaxxFordham a bit more expensive too

  • @ALLERTORLOVER69

    Yeah, I bet so!

  • Awesome job. :)

  • That can't be safe?

  • It is

  • The biggest risk is having the socket come off the drill and drop down into the rotor. That's why I have the socket duct taped to the drill.

  • Ive always wanted to do that.

  • looks good sounds great 2 ;D

  • that's a fimilar sound. I haven't done that in a long time. I may have to drag out my 5 and do this again now.

  • You should try releasing the springs and taking the brushes off the commutator. It'll make the wind up faster and the wind down longer.

  • Very nice. :D

  • Nice Airplane sound lol

  • Very nice, Eric! It sounds great! :)

  • Wow, nice Model 5, Eric. Is it a 1 phase version?

  • Yes.

  • Ah, I thought so. Looks like it's in good shape, too.

  • @vanamonde2

How many volts does that take? If it's a 1-phase motor, why don't you hook up a plug to it and run it on your dryer or stove outlet for a minute?

  • Nice, Eric! If only it had a shroud..

  • That is looking good! Looks brand new. Looking forward to a full power run!!
