I just had to sign in to leave a comment. That Lip syncing and dubbing was the best Amateur Filming I've seen and the Editing was great. I'm sure now your Daughter is in the Film Industry - will go far.

@sellersuk2010 Thank you so much for the wonderful compliment. I've actually chosen the avenue of Production Design in the film industry which should be interesting. I've worked on over 50 short films ranging in everything from the Director of Photography to Director to Production Designer. We'll see where this goes!

@phantumrose3322 Oh please don't feel stupid,... the whole idea of this excersise was to see how accurate we could be the actual actor's voices dubbed over ours. It was a challenge for my daughter who is now in the movie industry and a challenge for both of us as actors. All these videos are just fun projects. Thanks for watching. Cheers! :-)

Unfortunately we do not live in New York, we're actually based in Canada! A bit of a ways :-P However, I'd love to do a scene from either Edward Scissorhands or Phantom of the Opera! They would both be so much fun! We love pirates, of course, but it would be neat to broaden our horizons so to speak!

NOW THATS WHAT I'M TALKIN' ABOUT!!! I have commented on all of the other ones that if you would do more facial expressions they would be truly great and this one was the BEST! Jack you had perfect expressions and body language. It looked real! Keep up the good work!

Thank you so much for your kind words and encourament. My former way of having the facial hair glued to my face restricted me of any facial expressions, (in fear of it falling off, lol). I have since then changed the gluing process AND let go of the gold tooth as well that I had which kept slidding off, hence my concentration on the tooth and not the acting. I have now made it a motto that if props don't work, don't use them. :-D

i must know where you got the jack sparrow costume, Im a big movie nerd and love movie props (V for Vendetta Mask). Did you get the wig and outfit off eBay? Someday i am going to find a way to get my hands on his outfit and then i might never take it off. Oh and by the way BRILLIANT JOB on the acting and costumes, This is 10 out of 10, 5 stars doesnt do the justice for how great this is. Keep up the good work

Hi there,

Thank you so much for your wonderful comment. To answer your question the costume is actually hand made by my mom (who plays Jack Sparrow). Some of the pieces were bought off e-bay (ie. the rings and bandana) however the majority of the peices were originally hand made along with Elizabeth's costume, Will Turner's costume and many of the other costumes you'll see featured in our videos. :-D Thanks again!

In this clip the wig I made myself with 3 other wigs but together,.. but it ultimately didn't do and started to fall apart. My newest wig I bought from Ms. Mazies on ebay! An incerdible wig maker,... check out our latest video, 'Dead Man's Chest',.. you will see the new wig and what a difference it makes,.... like my daughter said,... 3 /4 of the costume is all hand made!

Oh you are so right,.. it isn't easy. The end result is worth it though,...

For me it is the memorizing of the lines, lol. But for ALL of us is getting the cue dead on when we do finally film. Fortunately my daughter is in film and THAT is half the battle! the video you just saw was done by tripod! No camera person used,... My daughter and I are the camera people AND the actors!
