I prefer using corruption for more threat, you´ve to cast it only once, which will give you some time to collect the orbs. You can also spam Searing pain after using 1 corruption.

@Blinddragon9 Fel Armor to build threat, and if it's necessary, swap to Demon Armor when he gains invocation.

It's cool that you did this and I wish that this was the only way, but sadly it's not. We just have one tank take the other two while I as a prot paly tanked the orbs and Keleseth. I just REALLY wish that lock were the only ones to do it. Cuz that's just cool. Like back in BC where only a mage could do the Gruul boss (i think) because of spell steal. Anyways great vid and keep up the good work.

@crazyartfreak whoever attacks the orb last holds the 'aggro' not threat based, however healers sometimes manage to get orbs on them, strangely enough

I did this boss first time two weeks ago, with a DK tank tanking keleseth, and our pally tanking the two other, which worked perfect, one-shotted them, but as a warlock, there are still needing me to tank, but aslong raid has good tank(s), it's easy with DK tanking kele and other tanking the others

i had a question my guild wants me to tank keleseth this week would you say that demonology would be a good spec to use for this. (ive read a bunch of stuff and no one can seem to agree on wats the best spec for it) get back to me when u can i would love ur advice :D

@spaz4spazing Demonology offers a lot of survival type talents. You tend to have more health, resistances, etc.

When I tank it, we have more of an aggro problem than a healing problem, so I opt for a destruction spec. On normal, it's completely doable without any special spec, but demonology would make you much easier to heal.

@jaedajene cool cool ty i dont have an agro problem i have the oppisite i have the whole healing problem (probably bc no one dps him when its his turn to get dpsed we just burn the other 2). It takes a little longer but it works with the agro issue. But i will definatly share this with lock in the guilds 2nd icc group so it can help him aswell. Thanks agian and good luck in the future.

Thank you so much for the tutorial. I had all but given up on tanking this fight, but after watching your video I simply changed up my spec a bit and altered my rotation....badaboom...one shot. I read so many articles on this fight, but no one went into the detail you did about specs. I have been pure demo for so long I haven't used stuff like shadow ward or demon skin...lol. i dont even know how people didn't realize that u have some sort of addon for handling certain buffs... not only does fel armor not show but none of ur raid buffs show, what is this an all rogue 1 warlock raid.. seriously...

Personally I'd suggest a deep demo spec, using a FG (5% less damage taken and 5% more damage done) or felpup (10% less spell damage) and soul link. Keeping threat is very easy, you should have more than enough by the time your prince even becomes attackable.

Just my personal suggestion, otherwise good movie.

Also, also, I find that rank 1 corruption is a quicker way to grab the nucleuses (nuclii?) as it's instant, also meaning you can grab them on the move.

G'day mate I was just wondering how much health u had and are u using the gear that gives u the most health like pvp gear for instance!

I had around 22k pre-buffs. I wasn't using any PvP gear, but it doesn't hurt. :) Just make sure if you're doing less-than-greatest DPS the others in the raid know to watch aggro.

I have to say I'm very impressed with the vid. The fight isn't a dps race particularly ( 10 min enrage i think?) so glyphing for soul link can help your healers out if they need it. I used your spec as a guideline Jaeda, but I went with the Soul Leech talents in order to bring replenishment. Personal pref. I think, like you said, this can be tanked by a warlock in no special spec.. it can be tanked by anyone really, now that he wont melee you to death anymore.

What I really miss about BC was all the fun warlock tanking I got to do! Maybe they'll make a warlock tank a necessity for heroic mode! One can only hope.

I stuck with normal destro glyphs, because honestly the normal mode fight is doable without any special spec. Those little tweaks just help out some. :) Glyphs wouldn't hurt at all, but aren't necessary for normal.

Hi nice video, just wondering why not master demonologist with felhunter(-10% spell damage) and demonic tactics. Also I found rank 1 corruption works wonders since nuclie threat is based off last person to attack them. Either way great video for a fun encounter!!! Take a look at my crazy spec.

I originally went in with a destro spec I with as many minor adjustments as possible so I could still actually DPS with it. I have dual spec, but this way people can spec to tank and still have a spec that allows them to do moderate raid damage. Really it's completely doable with a normal spec, but those little things help. My goal was to take a usable spec and make minor adjustments. :)
