  • YEAH! FUCK CHINA! GREEDY BASTARDS!

  • The BBC is an active supporter of cultural relativist experiments on working class ethnic Europeans by way of massive and unsustainable third world immigration. They believe that self-determination and ethnic preservation is only a right of non-European peoples. They call what is happening in Tibet genocide, but then they turn around and support the same thing across parts of the Western World. Boycott the BBC and their racist anti-European hypocrisy.

  • FUCK CHINA

  • Fuck free tibet!

  • have you already seen this unbelievable tibetan guitar player?

his name is tsering purtag, and i guess he's from switzerland. check out his live performance, keyword: purtag. he simply blew me away!

    free tibet

  • more CCP spam from you

  • Tsering Purtag is from Switzerland. You can see this video of Tsering Purtag on youtube

    Tsering Purtag@Free Tibet Demonstration,Bern/Switzerland

    watch?v=Yqd_vKjbskg

Free Tibet, East Burma and Darfur from the BRUTAL and EVIL Government of China.

Have you seen the hot new brutality video

Chinese Authorities Brutal Treatment of Tibetans - New Video

    watch?v=PqjC9Wa3sxE

    ?????

  • There is a very high probability of "agents provocateurs" involved in such riots.

  • fuck china

  • isn't it funny, like history is repeating itself, everyone is ganging up on china again. if you guys support tibetans claim their land again, why dont u give america bak to britain, u guys are jokes. probably we should do the same and have a fukin war for it again, and watch USA support the tibetans to profit from firearms again

  • There is no logic in you statment - If you support Tibet, it could be assumed that you would support free determination, thus would coincide with America being free as opposed to being under British control. Furthermore America was a coloney of Britain's, it was never 'part of Britan' in the same way China considers Tibet 'part of China'. So you're the joke buddy, work on that brain/typing filter.

  • Before repeating same old Commie propaganda, get this world see you as the Fuk..ing Commie extremist-not us.You have witnessed that during the olympic torch rellay.I can see one world versus one commie nothing else. The second thing is I would say if you Chinese want a good life you better civilised like other chinese Taiwan and Singapore etc.So that world can continue supporting your economic.

  • you saw my message about swearing havent you? Given your manners, I wonder who's get more respect, me (Chinese) or you.

"Commie extremist" - you have no inkling of what communism means, and you are trying to describe pro-China supporters as communist extremists? I don't think you would recognise a communist if you met him face to face.

"Civilised": it's true some pro-China people acted inappropriately. But overall, it was far better than pro-Tibet protesters' violent riots in London and Paris

  • That's almost a political impossibility. Just as Israelis will never pack up and leave the land they took from Palestinians, Chinese will and cannot just root themselves from Tibet. I'm not arguing legitimacy (leave that for some other time), but what you are proposing is just unrealistic.

If you really want Tibetans to live a better life, then be a moderate.

If you just want to confront the Chinese for the sake of it, then keep on being an extremist.

  • Commie dude, try to read this before repeating same old commie propaganda.Even your leading chinese intellectuals are ashamed of your CCCP Barbarian policy-if not you..

Leading Chinese Intellectuals Ask China to Rethink Tibet Policy.

    Yu Haocheng,

    Ding Zilin,

Jiang Peikun AND LIST GOES ON

  • I still don't see the Chinese "violence" in this video clip. Looks like Tibetans don't understand to disperse when told to; instead they throw rocks and sticks and then proceed to burn down Lhasa.

  • Get this your leading Chinese intelluals are soo ashamed of your CCCP govt the way they handling Tibet situation. They had to write a petition to your stupid commie govt.Signatures: Wang Lixiong,Liu Xiaobo,Zhang Zuhua,Sha Yexin,Yu Haocheng,Ding Zilin,Jiang Peikun, Yu Jie Sun Wenguang Ran Yunfei Pu Zhiqiang Teng Biao Liao Yiwu Wang Qisheng Zhang Xianling Xu Jue ... list goes on
  • Yes, they are against how CCP handled things down there.

But if you ask these intellectuals whether they support Tibetan independence, they would say no.

If you ask them whether they want CCP to step down, they would say no, a very firm no.

They want the Chinese political system to change, but not immediate drastic overhalt.

  • This reminds me of the BBC coverage of the Middle East, where every PLO/Hamas instigated fight is spun to blame Israelis. Contrary to BBC, the 'incident' that sparked the confrontation is clear - the monks started throwing things. While the BBC man says "older monks tried to restrain younger ones," we SEE police taking defensive postures while 'innocent' monks attack harder. As for the "way of life" China suppressed: it was the cruelest SLAVERY for 95%, ruled by rich, violent religious elite.

  • Monks should talk about being freed and they shouldn't even be out talking aobut politics monks are supposed to be away from the world.

  • By the way, in the same US state department article, it said,

"The (Chinese) Government stated that since the end of the Cultural Revolution, it had contributed sums in excess of $36 million to $48 million (RMB 300 to 400 million) toward the restoration of a number of important Buddhist sites that were destroyed before and during the Cultural Revolution."

They didn't just ignore them. They still provided money to sites that were destroyed.

  • yo what was that "something" in that video that started it all. I want to see! all I saw were young monks throwing stuff.

  • violent monks lol

  • Hey, zigdale. What do you know about the monks? I doubt you have ever been in Tibet, let alone 1000 miles from China. It isn't that bad. True, it could be better, but it is a helluva a lot better than pre-1950 Tibet. The Chinese provides 90% percent of their revenue! They used to starve half the time.

  • Witch, keep your retarded Evil mind of Red Chinese with you and keep yourself in LA LA land of drunkness and keep thinking there are people in Tibet who want to be called Chinese. Shithead PIGS

  • As a rule, don't swear.

As a rule (from personal exp), older people in China are generally very pro-CCP, despite the failings of CCP on several occasions. I don't know about Tibetans, but given its history of being a feudal society, which is similar to other parts of China, it should have been similar. The reason is that CCP freed the majority serfs from the minority feudal lords, politically, socially and economically.

  • Lets prey for better China to be like other civilised chinese like Taiwan and Singapore etc.Commie is not compatable with modern human being.

  • "commie is not compatible with modern human being"

I hope you understand what communism was suppose to be, what communism was made out to be, and what communism had evolved to become.

Communism was born not just as a political ideal, but as a soci-economical ideal. It's not against democracy or human rights; but it is against capitalism or in other words, concentrated private wealth.

I think what you are concerned is the totalitarian aspect of China. Totalitarianism is not communism.

  • One party rule in China and Tibet has been a disaster for nearly 60 years.

    FREE Tibet and China

  • I always thought monks were peaceful praying marching people. Didn't think they could also be youngsters driven by hormones and rioting.

  • all I see is the monks attacking the police, who are protecting themselves with shields.

  • ASSHOLEs, it was the feeling of suffocation, fustration, terrorization, insultation, and all that caused the protest by the younger monks and all over the TIBET.

Some REDNECK was talking like as if the Tibetans were their slave that they can do whatever EVIL China can do, as if they can NUKE it...what a shitheaded. Must be from drunken la la land that he have just awaken from.

  • He didn't say he'd nuke Tibet you fucking retard. Learn how to read. He said they would get into a nuclear war with any foreign nation that attacked them over Tibet.

  • apparently the tibetans don't feel that way... patriotic re-education in the monastaries, forced sterilization of tibetan women, arrest and torture for anyone who talks of independence, economic and ethnic inequality... not sure where you got your 90% figure, or the idea that they'd "starve" w/out China, please cite a source. 1.2 Million Tibetans died as a result of the Chinese invasion and subsequent rule (many from starvation, research the "great leap forward")...

  • "forcd sterilisation" - one child policy, happened everywhere in China.

"arrest and torture" - one government totalitarian regime, again the same everywhere in China.

"1.2m Tibetans died...many from starvation" - yes, mainly due to great leap forward, but again it affected the entire China.

So Tibetans were not discriminated against by the CCP. They may have sufferred under CCP rule like all other Chinese did. But they are in the past. Since cultural revolution, China prospered, incl. Tibet.

  • one child policy is restricted to Han chinese in urban areas - it doesn't apply to ethnic minorities.

agreed, arrest and torture, etc., all over china - does that make it okay? what's your point?

material wealth is not the only measurement of prosperity. i reject such an assumption as myopic, short-sighted (think, for example, of the environmental degradation), and a bad argument.

also, there is a class divide between Han and Tibetan in Tibet and Tibetan regions.

  • sgriggl, I'm watching the olympics right now and I thought the debate is over. But I guess you'd rather quarrel rather than harmonise.

One child policy - you are right, it only applied to ethnic Han. My research shows that while there are child limits for minorities, it is far more relaxed and seldomly enforced for Tibetans, especially rural Tibetans (which is most of Tibetans in China). However, there are individual cases of sterilisation. It is however not systematic.

  • human right abuse in china - just because it happens in other parts of china as well as Tibet does not make it ok. My points are however 2-fold:

    1. Human rights abuse by CCP therefore cannot be used as a ground to support any Tibetan geopolitical movement, such as independence or freedom or autonomy. For human right groups to beinvolved in groups like Students for a Free Tibet is a farce.

    2. Human rights in China overall is improving. International human rights bodies says as much.

  • material wealth - yes it is a measure of prosperity, but not the sole measure of standard of living, or happiness.

However, it is nevertheless very important to all humans, including yourself. If I ask you whether you are willing to give up a comfortable lifestyle and live like a homeless man in return for political freedom, I'm not sure how you will respond. But for most people in China, they will prefer material wealth.

  • Another point on material wealth. It is a historical fact (and I refer to political economic historians/theoriests beginning with Marx) that political consciousness (or indeed, what we considered to be politically correct) is correlated with the stage of economic development. That is the case during enlightenment, the European revolutions, the American revolution, what happened in S.Korea, what happened in Taiwan and to some extent Singapore.

Material wealth is a basis of human rights/democr.

  • class divid between han and tibetans: more an economic/wealth divide, enforced by a racial/ethnic/cultural divide. There is no systematic political effort to enforce that divide; if anything, the CCP tries to close that divide.

Note: I am not saying there is no problem in Tibet. I am not denying the miriad of social/political/economic problems in China. What I am against are those who bashes China on fallacious arguments, especially arguments related to Tibet.

  • The communist party creates the divide between Tibetans and Chinese in many ways.

    1. Immigration.

    2. Forcing Tibetans to use Chinese.

    3. Cultural Genocide.

    4. Mining sacred mountains.

    5. Stealing Tibet's treasures.

Free Tibet from the evil communist party.

  • 1.2 mil is an exaggeration. There were only 1.2 mil in TAR during the Liberation.

Get the facts! Bring some proof!

The TAR population was at 2 mil in 1990 which mean it has double in 40 years and 2.6 mil as of 2000.

  • hi TAR WAS JUST MADE BY CHINA AND THERE WAS NO CALLED TIBET AUTONOMOUS REGION BEFORE CHINESE INVASION OF TIBET.THERE WERE MORE THAN 6 MIL TIBETANS IN ALL TIBETAN INHABITANT AREAS WHICH IS REAL TIBET.NOWADAYS DIVIDED INTO PROVIENCES OF CHINA.

  • see below: Tibetans don't live exclusively in TAR. 1.2 is the official statistic of the Tibetan gov't, true, independent sources still say .2 to .8 mil., it depends on what you count as a death "caused" by the gov't.

  • And if independent Tibet had not been invaded in 1949 none of the killing would have happened.

    Free Tibet and China.

  • Sorry for double posting, but I got some stuff wrong

The Sino-Indian War occured in the 60's

  • Look, I'm Chinese and I think the Chinese government should be more tactful with the Tibetan situation. Maybe even grant religious freedom and autonomy. But, if you know your history, China will NEVER leave Tibet, regardless of human rights or any amount of dissing from other countries. The Chinese already fought a war there in the 50's (See Sino-Indian War). Tibet is an extremely important place, strategically. The only way they would leave is nuclear war, and I doubt anybody would want that.

  • Violent monks. What happened to all the equanimity, tolerance, et al we've come to respect of this supposedly gentle religion. Gandhi can teach these thugs a thing or two about getting what you want without resorting to violence.

The tibetans will be cursed to bring about this religion's downfall. I for one, renounce buddhism.

  • The communist party are RACIST State TERRORISTS.

    Learn about China and Tibet

  • the main thing is we do not know what started the aggressive behaviour: hmm how convenient.

this looks like it was a small incident, not as big as the bbc try to make things, ie distorted exaggerations.

when there have been protests in the uk i have seen the same thing in footage, 1 or 2 officials provoking the demonstrators.

  • and one more thing BOTH SIDES ARE HUMAN therefore they are susceptable to human reaction and emotion and everyone reacts to being provoked, just at different levels, policeman, monk, fishmonger, hairdresser, shopkeeper, christian, hockey player, whatever: we all have something that is the same about us, and i am being logical, not cleche, and that is we ARE INFACT ALL HUMAN

  • wow, the Chinese police is so 'lame'. I can certainly tell that the young monks are really brave -- assuming that Chinese police are really as brutal as some people liked to believe.

  • The Tibetan people need to be taught a lesson by our brave Chinese forces. The entire world backs our liberation of Tibet. Thanks to all of you for supporting my Chinese government for helping to pacify this lawless, dangerous country and it's people.

  • this video shows that it was the younger monks that rioted.

  • right. the younger monks who were never slaves-

the older tibetans are very pro-chinese. stupid kids don't know anything about history in a lot of places.

  • heh,I bet the central government feel stupid for blowing billions of dollars into renovating that Potala Palace.Tibetans don't even pay tax to the central government, why waste resources on these ungrateful ignorant locals who contribute absolutely nothing? Even basic supplies like food and vegetables are shipped into tibet from neighboring provinces.you want to be independent?I'd love to see how long the 2 million population lasts by feeding on wild lives.

  • yeah these ignorant folks were able to feed themsevles for hundreds of years, while their chinease neighbours were starving.

  • ya, they were able to feed themselves for an average life span of a whooping 36 years prior 1950s, feel free to look it up yourself.Latest records says average life span now a days is 67. but hey, I'm sure those monks and slave masters were able to live much longer, since they got the slaves to do all the work. Serfdom existed in Tibet until 1959--same year when dali14 fled from China, what a joke

  • 299 out of 300 Tibetans are just normal, decent people who are worth protecting. Besides, they keep the borders safe and provide lots of renewable energy to China's grid.

  • Shame on BBC! You call this "peaceful"? Why are you so afraid of showing many video clips at youtube that tell a different story? Many of those videos were shot by western tourists in Lhasa. What credibility do you BBC have if all you have been doing is to give ONLY ONE opinion in addition to telling lies and brainwashing British public? Intellegent people in the world all know that British government always has special dirty interests in Tibet, don't pretend that you care about Tibatan people!

  • i know ,learn from nepal police

and start hiting people instead of stay behing shield and get hit by rocks

i mean no western media has report on nepal crackdown tibetian protest yet so they are doing they right things

  • Sorry if I double posted. My post wasn't visible so I tried again.

  • We should boycott 2008 Beijing Olympic Game.

We should refuse to watch any game held in China.

We should boycott any of Chinese-made products, so that we can teach Chinese a lesson: Show your respect for others!

  • Right, as if you have any respect for the Chinese people.

  • Hey, u r very right, I have no respect for Chinese. I believe I don't need to go any further than this! You are smart enough to understand why!

  • well yea. That explains your ignorance. If you don't respect Chinese people and what we say, how do you expect a Chinese to respect you and what you say? You want to teach us a lesson of showing respect yet you have none. Hypocrite.

  • .. and what of respect for the people of Tibet? Do they not deserve to be treated humanely? They are human beings just like you and I.. and they *are* suffering.

  • Ok first of all, you seem to be someone who can be reasoned with, I respect that. yes I agree that people of Tibet should be treated humanely as for everyone in this world should. However it's not related to what I meant. I am pissed at people who is simply ignorant of what Chinese people has to say on the matter of Tibet and the western media. And in my opinion, the western media did not respect chinese people and other people by fabricating stories about the situation.

  • hi shadow,

well I was pretty hard on you, so I'm glad if you aren't angry at me.

    >> in my opinion, the western media did not respect

    >>chinese people and other people by fabricating stories

    >>about the situation.

I honestly can't say whether the media is lying, fair or biased. We live in a world where in truth we don't know jack about what is really going on. So our minds fill in the blanks with best guesses, which in turn comprises of our pre-conceptions.

  • The western media people very likely believe that the Chinese government is dishonest ruthless and that Tibetans are a honest and harmless as doves. So we just fill in all the blanks using those beliefs/pre-conceptions. Our minds fill in the blanks like this, it is just an every day thing that we do all the time without knowing it. The end result is our media [and not just western media] end up creating propaganda, and yet may believe they have been honest.

  • I hope that may be the case. But I have to say the situation is a lot more complicated than that. In my opinion, the news by the western media aren't just news but they contain hints that show prejudice against China, mainly the Chinese govt. That creates anti-china sentiments among its viewers which would in turn cause alot of problems and injust for Chinese people. I think that there's politics involved in this.

  • >>You want to teach us a lesson of showing

    >>respect yet you have none. Hypocrite.

You say he should show respect.. yet just earlier you said "so stfu and mind your business". Are you being respectful when you say 'shut the f... up' to someone? So who is a hypocrite?. We are all hypocrites IMHO. If you found even one person in this world who was not a hypocrite it would be a minor miracle!

  • .. and of course there are *many* who are blind to their own nature and don't realise the hypocrisy within them.

  • lol, I agree with you. It's just that I think you've misinterpreted what I said.

  • Ok, again, you have misinterpreted what I meant. He is a hypocrite because he said Chinese people should learn a lesson of respecting others while he has no respect for Chinese people. For that, would I respect him? I clearly don't for that matter, why should I respect someone who simply has no respect for others? It's not hypocrisy as im not making double standards. Im just being plain straightforward with him.

  • If only China get out of Tibet, there will be a wonderful world.

The world should get united to kick Chinese out of Tibet and teach CCP a lesson: Mind your own Chinese business, especially those Chinese restaurants!

  • yes, RANGER799, you know nothing about China and Tibet so stfu and mind your business.

  • >>so stfu and mind your business.

Mind your manners! Are you man or beast?

People being murdered and oppressed is the business of ALL people. We are all human, we all live on one little planet, and we all have to work out how to get along peacefully and help others who are in trouble regardless of race or nationality [and that includes peaceful resistance to injustice and oppression]. If we don't the world will really go to the dogs.

  • Im not one of the violent Tibetan that burned down shops, throw rocks at people, and beating people to death as a way of protesting. Are they man or beast? Yes we should all act peacefully. You should definately tell that to G.Bush to stop killing Iraqis for oil. and the western media for creating prejudice against China and anti-china sentiment in the people. Tibetans are NOT be oppressed, if you go to Tibet you would know.

  • Thanks shadowfox,

Whilst I disagree with you in part in regards to oppression, I am just happy that we can disagree without 'biting' at each other. Being able to disagree with someone and still remain friends is something that I have lately come to see as quite precious!

You most certainly are not a beast ;)

  • Looks like a Chinese official is going to be quietly arrested and shot for loosing control and allowing this problem to get out of hand.

  • Most of commenter are from india, every one knows their vicious goal.

  • The reporter sounds Scottish you moron. Reminds me of braveheart. "You can take my life, but you can't take my freedom!" ;)

  • China WILL collapse!! Sooner or later!! This was just the beginning!

  • Give me a break, Trillions of people live there, you want to kill them all to collapse China? I doubt if Nazi has that power. You definely do not have. your dick collapse in a millisecond

  • >>you want to kill them all to collapse China?

Yup it would just be stupid for any country to attempt this. Countries around the world seem very much dependent on Chinese trade.. both import and export [food, technology, clothing, etc].

If china did ever fall apart it would have to be from within.. if the country as a whole got sick, tired and simply fed up with the government. That would be disastrous IMHO.

  • Criticising China openly doesn't necessarily help, it just creates resentment and alienation by people in China, from there you get distrust and fear, then stupid conspiracy theories and outright hate, then violence.

I would even go so far as to say that any true change comes from within. You can't force someone to change.. but you can *try* to reason with them..

  • That's one heck of an evil thought.

  • Isn't it convenient that the riot (not regular) police was surrounding the monks, and that the unrest began w/o apparent reason? A former advisor to Chinese Party General Secretary has said today that the violence was started BY THE CHINESE in plain and monk clothes to have an excuse for a crackdown and "cleaning" ahead of the olympics, and to discredit the internationally respected Dalai Lama. Fits perfectly with Chinese methodology!

  • >> violence was started BY THE CHINESE in plain

    >>and monk clothes to have an excuse for a crackdown

I have no idea whether they did this or not.. but it is a very old trick for governments to pull. In order to discredit unions / protesters they embed a rabble rouser to stir up the crowd. It only takes one or two violent people to both discredit the protest as a whole AND to give 'police' an excuse to detain and beat whoever they like.

  • FREE TIBET BOICOT CHINA or whatevr i dont no how to spel boycot..shutup

  • This is nothing, if these monks were protesting in America they would all be Tear gassed Tazered Zip cuffed and bundled into police vans.

I wholeheartedly disagree with the Chinese oppression of Tibet but im sick of hearing "America should do this.. America should do that" when America is probably the most heavy handed trigger happy nation on Earth.

  • chinese like nazist!

    boicot china!

  • If you know the truth I think you will be regretted what you said. If you make a judgement according to the fake video. The only thing I can is "Pathetic'.

  • >> If Tibet produced oil, the Western nations

    >> would have put far more pressure on China to leave

I love Tibet and I am not an American.. but America [or any other country] would have to be mad to go into Tibet with military, oil or not. It would start WW3.

  • See the great Chinese nation , they fight against very very dangerous Monks !!!!!!

I hope the World would boycott made in China .

We all can buy in India , they respect Religions !

    Free Tibet !George from Germany

  • Unfortunately, the American government is too busy with their personal war in Iraq, a war few Americans want, to give a shit about Tibet. We should have done something 50 yrs ago. "Luluwl", you're a commie Chinese bastard. The "nice polices" should have never been there and I don't see "rocks". Rocks are big. Maybe they threw a stone or two, but the "polices" are in full riot gear. A tiny stone wasn't going to hurt anyone. Get the hell out of Tibet and we'll keep our "rocks" to ourselves.

  • America stands with Tibet. And freedom for Tibet. Communist China is still the same. Genocide in Darfur and Tibet....pathetic.

  • America always stands by means of splitting other nations with human rights and freedom as a cover up. America's strategy of divide & conquer is old and pathetic. You probably think America is giving Iraq freedom while its soldiers are killing innocent civilians and raping their women.

  • This video indicated that:

    1) How great Chinese policeman! They held back and used no any weapons.

    2) It clearly demonstrated that the Chinese polices behaved very normally and no any-break to int'l rules. But you can see some of the monks they throw stones to police.

  • This is disgusting. It's horrible how the Olympics are being used to lend credibility to countries that flagrantly violate human rights. I agree with zazzazan about a boycott of Chinese goods. We did it back in the 70s-80s with South Africa and it definitely had an effect. Also we should write to our prime ministers, presidents, etc. for all countries to boycott the Olympics this summer. Remember--if it's MADE IN CHINA--DON'T BUY IT!

  • what if it's MADE IN MALAYSIA?

  • Good video. I hope that the Tibetan people will prevail but it will be the condemnation of the rest of the world, including, I hope, a boycott of Chinese goods and Olympics before they do. Who would want to win the tarnished medals from Beijing? I am only surprised that the tanks haven't rolled over any Tibetans yet.

    Good luck to them.

  • FREEDOM TO TIBET!

Do not allow Olympic Games in China!

    Greece is with Tibet!

  • They didnt sell off their Ferraris to get this in return !!

  • Those monks does not look peaceful...

  • The communist party cult has TORTURED thousands of Chinese and Tibetans to DEATH since 1999.

    FREE China and Tibet

  • Which video are you guys watching? It isn't conclusive one way or the other as to who started.

At the start of the film you see monks sitting around chatting, laughing, and doing nothing threatening [unless you call a peaeful protest threatening, sheesh!]. Then the camera swings, I see some monks running away with military type guys chasing them but I cant see what caused them to flee. Who started it?!?

.. and does it really matter? at this point both sides are creating a cycle of hate.

  • People see what they wanna see. You hear the comments of BBC? C'on where do you see that this is the so-called spark of the riots? Where do we see that "outnumbered" monks were being endangered by these evil polices? Where do you see the guns of the police?

If you shut down the audio, and only watch the pictures, then you should conclude that the police did not do anything, besides remaining order and defending themselves without hitting back at all. How could this be a spark or trigger?

  • I have to say it. LMAO. "riot" police there to "defend themselves without hitting back at all" against monks sit and chant for freedom while the riot police have their "riot" gear on and their Batons ready to strike. Which they did...go read an eye witness account of a tourist at a monastery outside Lhasa on BBC.

  • Todo mundo é contra o dominio da China no Tibet, mas quem deixa de comprar os produtos de 3ª categoria que eles vendem baratos ao redor do mundo

  • Kissing up to the Chinese government, Google has custom-built a search engine for China and Tibet that censors and distorts information sensitive to the Chinese authorities - "sensitive" topics include "human rights," "democracy," and "freedom."

  • TIBET TIBET!!! LOVE YOU!!!

  • No surprise what would people think and do if they stay in house doing nothing and without sex. that is what Monks doing everyday living on other's food and hope to find way to decode themselves but only a few become true master and most others become followers which is no differences than us but wearing monk suit, they are becoming other's tool like most of us for living on the earth.

  • next time i will beat British cops and ask hello to their mother.. WHY?

Because you British cops "spark" me

According to BBC and western Logic...

  • You would do that? Wow,. and you think that is how westerners think? Man, you are really messed up.

Oh, and you need to analyse your 'logic' a little better.

  • Why not say Gulf War 'sparked' 9-11 and Afghanistan 'sparked' 3-11. Will you ask what the terrorists' pursuit is and receed to violence?

Don't be so hypocritical and condescending like people of other countries are less capable.

Everybody needs approval from authority to parade and protest. Obvious those monks didn't, what would NYPD do?

  • LMAO. What a joke. Do you really think the Chinese government is going to give permission for people to protest against its ow injustices. Please!

Don't be a hypocrite. If your country was invaded, raped, and hundreds of thousands slaughtered purely out of greed for its natural resources. What would you do? Would you be able to sit back and do nothing? No, you would be really really furious and want revenge. Under the circumstances the restraint of these monks is pretty darn good!

  • Ahhhh dear sorry I shouldn't laugh. I apologise. That other guys attitude makes me laugh and it is infectious :)

Condescending? You fel belittled because ppl r criticising china. People don't like to hear criticism regardless of whether the criticism is right or wrong. But boy we all deserve it sometimes. We all need to be able to grow up and realise that some of the criticism is well intended. Yeh, not all the talk has been constructive criticism.

  • >>Why not say Gulf War 'sparked' 9-11 and

    >>Afghanistan 'sparked' 3-11

and Saddam 'sparked' gulf war by invading kuwait. Yup america was helping out their rich buddies in kuwait. how dare they. terrible huh. Not to mention the 'spark' from all the murders of kurdish people, again done by Saddam [are those chemical warheads saddam used WMD's?].

But it aint all black and white. I really wish the USA would just leave them alone. America deserves criticism too. Not stupid conspiracy theories..

  • Funny how the US supplied Saddam those chemical weapons.

  • Actually it was a dumbass in my country, if im not mistaken.

  • Yes, Netherlands was involved, so was the US.

"Congressional Records of Senator Riegle's investigation of the Gulf War Syndrome show that that the US government approved sales of large varieties of chemical and biological materials to Iraq. These included anthrax, components of mustard gas, botulinum toxins"

  • Gosh, those monks even worst that thugs, rounding up polices and beating them up at a corner(1.06-1.09). I wonder what those monks do everyday. Aren't they suppose to meditate everyday? But ironically those monks obviously have some anger management problem, like some barbarian looking a fight every time.

  • China should get the hell out of Tibet. If Tibet produced oil, the Western nations would have put far more pressure on China to leave.

  • What else do you expect from the communist dictators with the worst record of torture and tyranny against their own citizens?

  • this shows Tibetans starting the problem.. The police were there to make sure all was calm until a Tibetan monk starting attacking or cussing at a police officer that caused the police to run after him.. then dozens of monks started chasing after the police officer. It shows that the Tibetans started it =/

  • LMAO, The vid clearly shows the police holding the Batons while the Tibetans sit there with nothing, while the Chinese Militants outnumbered the monks.

either you're blind or trying really hard to make urself blind.

you are funny. Thanks for the laugh.

  • BBC knows very little about this video. And it hardly indicates security forces used deadly force which was what the monks and rioters used against nonTibetans. From NYC, Nepal, India, Belgium we can see Tibetan protesters treated much worse by security.

  • police officers are suppose to have a boton and shield for protection and order. Are you saying polic officers are to be bear hand LMAO your a real comic..

  • US Olympic tourists warned about monitoring in hotels

  • Right back at you dude, right back at you. LMAO!

  • The uniforms look different from todays PAP and resemble 1980s uniforms.

  • LMAO. which means, laughing my ass off.

  • Even the BBC claims they are unsure of the video themselves. There is another video on youtube that dates back to 1989 Tibetan riots with the same exact uniforms being worn.

  • But after looking at it some more. I cant be certain. The uniforms might be exactly the same, but the footage could still be recent.

  • Is this footage from 1989?

  • as if Western nations have never colonized the unwilling.

  • How easily the past is forgotten by those who believe they are right and justified! As if the West has never done wrong (USA, UK, Spain, France et al)

  • BBC source? Another propaganda??? I stopped to trust BBC a couple of years back.

  • Goood vid.

  • This proves that the violent was not organized by the "Dalai Clique" as China claims, but refuses to show any evidence claiming that they are investigating. If they are investigating, how can they already come to the conclusion that Dalai Lama was responsible. This shows the protests were spontaneous. One thing that Tibean cannot tolerate is attack on their monks and nuns.
