Ops, my bad. I thought they had said representatives from all eight branches of the military. I listened to the video again and they actually said eight members from the five branches.

Also, I meant to type the other three are reserves - not serves. Wow, what a botched comment :-)

Question - there is the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard as the branches of the US military. The other three are serves, correct?

What do you mean the other three are serves? I don't understand the question. The branches of the military in the US are the Army, Navy, Air Force & Marines. The Coast Guard is not part of the Department of Defense, but rather, Homeland Security. The Coast Guard only become a "military branch" during a time of war, where they then fall under the Navy. If you clarify your question, I'll answer.
