Does anyone know the name of the short haired female in this film clip?. She looks VERY familiar, and I think I have seen her in some movies, but just cant think of who she is.
By the good things in the universe, this is better than the original, and I love that song.. doesn't move me as anywhere near as much as this does... wow.

I liked this song growing up in Hong Kong but when I recently heard the original version sung by Charlene, this rendition just seems lacking.
The lyrics in the original version is just so more meaningful.

that's correct. it's a canto version of American R&B singer Charlene's 1982 Pop music song "I've Never Been to Me".
I love it when English songs are sung in other languages.
