Hey...I came across your video because i am currently considering a transfer to Osaka area...currently i live in Iwate, ive been here 2 years but have always been attracted to a big city... i was wanting to live outside the city in a smaller area - i was wondering though...is it easy to make friends, socialise etc??? - where i am we have our local cafe, we study a mr donuts, the teachers hang out most days, we mix with the japanese... is this the same in Osaka?
If you move to Osaka, you'll probably need some time to adapt - it's indeed a very big city and people are used to seeing gaijin so they won't come to you all the time just out of curiosity.. Then again, you'll have more chances of meeting English-speaking Japanese (or Japanese who want to practise their English).. In the end, I guess it will mostly depend on your own ability to make new friends...
