its not necessary, i think 95% of the worlds top players use an arcade stick, but the other 5% with gamepads kick ass too (for example wolfkrone or alioune sensei) :D just dont use your keyboard
Ermm. Isn't this strange, that i ran this game onto Radeon 3200 HD integrated on my mobo, in full details and resolution 1280x720 and I had always 60 fps? ; o I love this game! xd
all the outfits are available for the pc too, there tons of it free on the shoryuken forums, but if u want the others online to see your skins u need to buy them via windows live :/
@Lechoo95 That's because it was made for console. Which means you dont really need a decent rig to play it on full specs. I can get up to 600fps though :)
@kidkakashi123 Have you ran the benchmark test? Google it. Street fighter 4 benchmark
As for getting good performance, it's kind of tricky, Some hight-end rigs have issues running it and some low end rigs have no issues. The PC version was not optimize as well as it should have been, That's my take on it.
@AleighSimlavi No sure, it's best to run the benchmark tool to see where you stand because some people with low end rigs get pretty good results, and sometime people with good rigs get crappy results.
Do a Google or Bing search for: "Street Fighter 4 Benchmark Tool"
Does anyone else have this problem: When I try to put low model quality, a huge number of graphical glitches start appearing. For example some fireballs and other projectiles become invisible, some characters lose "bodyparts" like when game begins, character is missing jaw, hand, or similar. Most hilarious was when zangief had nothing but head and one finger. On high model settings everything works just fine BUT the game itself doesn't. Fps drops to 45 when it could be 60 with low models.
@currynator I've never seen that b4, maybe your rig is low on resource. Check to see if any background apps are running and close them. that might be it.
Is that one even coming out? I bought this one yesterday because I thought there was no " Super " version coming out for pc. It was only 20 euros though...but still prefer ssf
@Zucchini156 yes it is Logitech im guessin thats the on i use but youll have to config the buttons though the defaults are kinda wierd atleast thats what i think
@Zucchini156 If you know which buttons correspond to which move, it's actually pretty easy as you can place more fingers on the keyboard than on a controller
(Street Fighter 4 benchmark tool), Some people with crappy rigs get good game play and some with good rigs get crappy game play. search Google for it.
@crippenfalyfe 49.00FPS is not a bad score. send me a message from my channel with your email address and i'll send you back a screen shot of my settings, sometime you can get extra performance by tweaking some of your settings.
@bgundam26 I doubt that, Street Fighter 4 runs way better and faster on the PC.
It takes me a bunch of games to get use to the slowness when I play on the 360 or PS3.
All games are made and optimized on PC then ported to consoles, If it was the other way around them your argument would be valid. PC gaming will never die.
Other added bonus I use my Quad core Vista 64 to design with as well as gaming, you can't go wrong with a killer rig and a 24 inch monitor.
@plxsave@plxsave Sorry dude I don't know what to tell you, I've been a stick player all my life and I can only recommend what I use, A Madcatz TE Round 2.
If you're just starting out I would recommend starting on a stick instead of a pad, there are some moves that are way easer and not as frustrating to pull off on a stick, so Ive heard. :)
Check shoryuken Im sure there might be a few pad players on there that can give you that info. Good luck.
but yes it does make sense. If ur learning or want to learn it's a great way to, I watch animes all the time & i am gettin better in my jap & two send i follow up on it i can now hold a talk to my japan pal's basic now... so dont let it get anyone else down try to learn the basic first to it...
I honestly can't understand how people who don't speak fluent japanese can have such a strong preference for japanese voice overs in everything. I can partially understand the "i want to experience in it's purist form" excuse but unless you're actively learning it doesn't make much sense. (in my opinion)
hearing anything spoken in any language that many times is annoying. I've played King of Fighters 2006 (the 3d one), and yes the voice acting could have been better (some cases more than others, some were good enough), it still doesn't drive me to prefer the jap voices though. they weren't (in my opinion mind you) all the greatest voices either. but in the case you're saying, it's easier to hear things repeated over and over in japanese than english....it doesn't really make sense to me...

is it slower in pc than in ps3 or xbox? looks like the fire-fireball ryu throws a bit slower.
blindluckdanbrown 1 year ago
@blindluckdanbrown The PC version is the fastest of the three platforms.
The reason it look slow is B/C of the screen capture utility used, Fraps.
On average each min of capture is about 1GB of HD quality footage so that tends to slow down the PC.
See my latest video. Madcatz Stick Mod, at the end i have some in game capture.
