@pete42do u must use an original memory stick to get it to work on first try... n if ur asking how to check it... press triangle n accept th information bar... see if the magic gate on the informatio bar say supported... it means it's original... if it says unkown then buy a damn original memory stick...

@PjTheAnimator If your psp model is 1000, it is phat. If yours is psp 2000 or 3000, it is slim. You can check it at where you place your battery. And this vid totally did not work...

If you had a psp 2000 or 1000 then you could use a Pandora battery and get custom firmware that way, but with a 3000 the battery wont work and u cant hack when you're at 6.2

If it's a 3000, then ebay it and get a 2000 OR, wait till the makers of ChickHen ACTUALLY make a hack for CFW, cause chick hen atm doesn't Yalow u to run ISOs or get CFW.

you're using M33 then, get Gen-3 or Gen-2.

Those work.

To get there you need to google or go on PSPISO and find a page to update your self to M33-D then go to Gen, then go to Gen-3 or Gen-2.

they are just diffrent custum firm ware, to change the firm ware you download the update file from w.e website u found it on, put it in your psp/games folder then run the psp and click the icon that showed up, some update failles don't work on some firmware, hense why u need M33-D before u can get gen.

The only way to lower the firm ware of a PSP is threw a pandora battery, and Pandora batteries don't work on PSP 3000.

you can jig kick your psp down to the stock firmware to be able to hack it. Just search jigkick batteries online and read a tutorial.

Phat psps are usualy psp 1000s which are easiest to hack.

If its 6.2 or w.e then a Pandora batery can work.
