Most of the time at the end of the day (about 3 o'clock at night) there is no meat left.

If there is some left, they throw it away.

We are in modern times & the Greek community should be doing what all of the world are doing, calling a Gyros by its proper name: DONER KEBAB. Gyros is the Greek word for Rotating, as is Doner in Turkish. Because of a massive Greek community in the US and its backwoods views on Turks these guys have decided to take claim of a Turkish Dish produced by the Iskender Family in Bursa in the 1700's, because they use Pork in some does not give them the right to change its name.

@dreamgrafix The name of kebab is an issue? What is wrong with you? If anything the original kebab was used by the ancient Chinese and Persians long before Greeks and Turks. Also Greek and Turkish foods suck. That's why all the French and Italians have tons of fine restaurants and Greeks and Turks are left with greasy little gyros and kebab shops.

@dreamgrafix Also you said it yourself. If Gyros is the Greek translation for Doner then nothing was stolen, it's a simple TRANSLATION. They have their own names for this in Bulgaria, Albania, Serbia, Macedonia. Go complain to them too.

I am not the person who makes the gyros. I am only a tourist who made the movie. The owner of the place is a good friend of us. He goes to their butcher every morning and picks the meat he needs.

I don't make the gyros myself. Just made a movie in a shop of a good friend.

They use pork-meat for their gyros. Every morning the owner goes to the butcher and picks the meat he wants. He hands over their secret mixture of spices and the butcher prepares the meat.

When it's ready the meat goes to the shop were the cook spends 1 hour prepairing the 80 kilo's of gyros.

So I am sorry I can't tell you what spices they are using.
