@gonzalojwasssermann No, actually it's perfect. This isn't an all-out rock song, so the guitar should be clean, and not overpower the other instruments. This shows Slash has excellent taste, and can adapt to different styles.

Beth Hart's DVD "Live at the Paradiso" is my favorite of ALL bands. Jon Nichols can play some badass guitar also. People who don't know HOW to get turned on, get turned off. I saw her in Chattanooga last year. Drove 800 miles each way. The most powerful, moving, soulful voice I've ever head! Beth, U ROCK ! ! !

This song is epic. And beth hart is a fuckin' good singer. She can give the song the right deepness. It's like she sings a duet with slash's guitar. The lyrics affect me. I really love the way slash plays. he responds the listener. you don't want to hear just the singer. you want to hear the guitar exactly, too.i think that's what a good guitarist constitutes.

This is a good song, But in my opinion the super clean, thin, tone he uses in the solo ruins the flow of the song. Beth is really digging into it vocally at that point and your expecting the solo to push the flow even harder, with those big 5000 lb notes that slash is so great at..... Just sounds weak to me, Beth however is great on this song.

@tgod72 Yeah, I kinda see what you're saying. I think he had the amp a little too clean in this video. The album version is a lot better in this respect though, with a slightly dirtier sound and more sustain. It's not the full-on Marshall overdrive that comprises Slash's classic solo tone, but it fits the bluesy jam of the song pretty well.
