I absolutely love death metal from the simple to the intrincate stuff, and I've listened to a lot of bands too, and I think Nile is a terrific band. It's just matter of opinions and tastes. BTW I like Napalm Death, they're grindcore forefathers. Again, it's a matter of taste.
