  • necrophobic and nile are amazing

  • Now the lyrics are kinda.. strange- nevertheless awesome song!

  • Why are people always bickering either about religion or the genre of the music on a metal video, can't you just shut the fuck up and listen to the music? If you comment, do it about how you like the song, is that not what these videos are, music??

  • NILE!!!!!!

  • first nile track I heard, still one of my favourites along with stones of sorrow. this album kills it

  • BEHEMOTH!!!

  • @deathmetal931 You are a very intelligent individual.

  • i came here to hear NILE no to read about what religions is good, fake or gay, just listen the fucking music!

  • The starting riff is used as a jingle on Death.fm :D

  • my fav nile song...get ya comments right people. fuck ur politics, its about music!

  • meh its grows on you but i mean its like its not as brutal as david vincent morbid angel i mean thats fucking amazing this is OK its not like the over the top cannibal corpse after the first vocalist or carcass or napalm death (napalm death is a joke)

  • @FirePower3006 I think most of death metal bands out there sound alike, and these guys brought something fresh to the genre. I absolutely love death metal from the simple to the intrincate stuff, and I've listened to a lot of bands too, and I think Nile is a terrific band. It's just matter of opinions and tastes. BTW I like Napalm Death, they're grindcore forefathers. Again, it's a matter of taste.

  • @WencesWasHere i like some of the grindcore from carcass but the melodic dm albums were the fucking best and cannibal with the singer after chris sounds exactly like this (not in a bad way though)

  • @FirePower3006 Thanks for not making a mess of this. You're very polite, and yeah I get what you say.

  • @WencesWasHere yea i hate youtube arguments.

  • @FirePower3006 Ahhhhh i love the metal peace !

  • @FirePower3006 Corpsegrinder? he sounds like shit compared to this.

  • @mujuma Idk maybe I shouldn't said that because fist of all yes u are right but its just the style really I like death metal but this album is boring the albums after this are better.

  • @FirePower3006 it's ok.

I've never liked Cannibal Corpse after Vile, Georges vocals blow really hard after that.

I've never been a fan of Nile, as much as I tried, I just cant seem to get into their shit.

I enjoyed this album though, the vocals were more 'brutal', as much as I hate saying that word.

  • @mujuma Cannibal Corpse is very lowbrow Death Metal.

  • @FirePower3006 napalm death would stomp you into oblivion

  • @Megadeth916 Yea that was 2 months ago dude I actually listen to that. old carcass and this now.

  • I love this!

  • im a stoner and listen to prog/mostly thrash/death/black and this is the worst death metal band ive ever heard IMO its a fucking joke

  • @FirePower3006 If you have nothing good to say than don't say nothing at all

  • @FirePower3006 maybe you should sober up and then listen to it again.

  • THIS album isn't over produced, but after Black Seeds of Vengeance it is, but still good.

  • Cannibal Corpse is pathetic, most of their songs are about fucking zombies for fucks sake, that's why little kids like them, "yeyy zombies! weeee"

Autopsy and Possessed are True Death Metal

  • @AnthemsToTheWelkin Okkkkk der Necropedophile is not about zombies ! The spine splinter is not about zombies ! Hatchet to the head, Cauldren of hate, pulverized, stripped raped and stanguled, hung and bled, GALLERY OF SUICIDE !!!!!! AND MORE NOT ABOUT ZOMBIES ! Uh how many cc albums do you own?? Oh and im pretty sure the new album has to do with TORTURE NOT ZOMBIES !!! Are you sure you know about Death Metal ??

  • Nile is OVER-PRODUCED. Old CC is good, but newer stuff is OVER-PRODUCED also. Why do ALL metal bands feel the need to OVER-PRODUCE these days?

  • @RamManNo1 You think this is over-produced? You are a total weirdo, go listen to your Norwegian black metal :P

  • @RamManNo1

Because of something called "making a living." I'm pretty sure you know about that.

  • @RamManNo1 "Nile is over-produced, meh wahh... WAHHH WAHH!" :'O

I like to picture my Nile as a golden-baby Satan. Just chillin up in heaven, revolting against the establishment and listening to early Pentagram records. It helps me get past the crisp production of the equally devastating new Nile albums.

  • @RamManNo1 lemme guess key word here is OVER PRODUCED you remind me of my english teacher :P HIGHLIGHT IMPORTANT DETAILS CHILDREN

  • @RamManNo1 Both the new Nile and Canibal Corpse albums are gonna be there best !!

  • 1:32 - 1:58

Makes me feel I'm standing under the chin of the Sphinx *__*

  • They re two different styles of music guys...CC is pure Death Metal...Nile s Technical Death Metal...or Technical Brutal Metal...

CC is legendary, stop comparing them plz...both are fucking great bands!

I enjoy much more listening Cannibal Corpse.

  • @tiroso Nile focuses on Egyption mythology, while some bands like Autopsy focus on a more gorey and brutal theme

  • FUCKING HEAVY!

I damn right love the double base (or bass dunno) in this song.

  • why the comparisson between Canibal and nile? to my are both amazing and diferent bands

  • And you can't really take CC seriously when it's about zombies lol, this is more evil, when the Egyption gods are the same as Demons in the Christian Bible.

  • I HAVE THIS ALBUM!!!!

I prefer Those Whom The Gods Detest and Ithypalic, these are the best

  • The Exorcist 2 sample, fuck yea!

  • Nile and Cannibal Corpse are too different to compare... from a lyrical and conceptual point of view. Nile to my mind have more in common with bands like Melechesh.

  • @dowhatthouwiltful Nile is older than Melechesh

  • @Burrumbumbum Not by much...

  • Back when it wasn't over produced and way more extreme!

  • Amongst the catacombs is a powerful album. I had written the band off because their mid era albums sucked horribly, but Ramses Bringer of War, Serpent headed mask, and the entire album have changed my mind. What a monster of an album

  • It still amazes me the amount of disrespect this band get's all for stupid reasons. I've literally seen people hate on Nile because of Karl Sanders' weight.

  • Superior track!!!!

  • best NILE work. EVER.

  • Holy shit.

  • CC r Fags

  • @resurrectd your mom sukks dikk to cc

  • MY FAVORITE NILE SONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • NO !! CC is not heavier .. i think AEON could be matched easily in term of brutality though they differ in style !!

  • CC and Nile are Both Legends

  • @evisceration123 And im gonna see both in April

  • killer!

  • It would be sick if these guys played in Toronto on their next tour, I've been dying to see them live without having to go down to the States to see them.

  • @svenskcanadian their coming here to austin!! its gonna be brutal, i hope you get the chance to see them aswell

  • this is one of the few PERFECT songs ever created. pure genius.

too bad the production/mix/recording sound quality was far from perfect.

  • OMFG......The first 6 seconds of this song are SICK!!!! I believe this is Pete Hammoura on the drums. I know George is a good drummer etc etc, but Pete was very much overlooked. He created the Nile drum sound. Derek and George just kind of played off of it.

  • @corpusc "too bad the production/mix/recording sound quality was far from perfect." Personally, that adds to its depth and character. Too much production and it will end up sounding like the Black Album(Metallica)

  • I'm only just getting into Nile. So far, their amazingly technical and well structured. But they lack a strong vocalist. I just don't really seem to like his style, he has some moments though.,

  • @mujuma listen to the last song on anihilation of the wicked i dont know how to pronounce the name since its in german but the first word is von and the last word is kulten the middle word is impossible to say

  • @turtelman1234 OH GOD THE IRONY

  • I don't listen to much death metal but these guys have to be one of the most brutal bands out there.

  • must start playin with a metronone

  • Anyone else think this is Nile's best album

    This song is fucking genius

  • This song is soo fucking beautiful

  • The sample at the start is from Exorcist II: The Heretic and is probably the only thing from that film which doesn't suck.

  • @TheFingerbang1 haha i had mixed feelings on that sequel. the third one is the best IMO

  • @rogueshdw The original is the best but 3 is totally underrated - that pretty much goes for any film starring Brad Dourif, what a legend.

The only thing I dont have mixed feelings about from the sequal is a teenage Linda Blair in a slip of a night dress.Nice.

  • @TheFingerbang1 true that haha. Douriff has been in so many good horror movies.

*Roars* "I do that rather well...don't you think?"

  • They played this when I saw them last night. It was fucking insane!

  • whats with all the egyption stuff on niles albums?

  • @666Nickw

Yea, whats with all the notes, and sounds coming out of my speakers too?

Never quite understood that either, This shit MUST be magical or something, I mean every time I put a disk shaped object in my computer or car some stuff starts making noises, truly a weird experience.

  • @BlackupKnight wait um they are egyption based metal and yeah that why lolol

  • this is my fav nile album man. AYEE YAY AYEE YAY AYEE YAYE YEA HEYAHUUH

  • "That thou mayest copulate with thine self, and spill thy seed upon the black Earth" Best line ever.

  • Dallas shaved his head, its so metal

  • How do you know? Did he tell you that...lol

  • We come before Thee wearing serpent headed masks

In sanguinary worship we offer the Tcheser-t Senfiu

The sacrificial drink of the Gods of Blood

in a goblet carved from a human skull....

  • FUUUUCK YEAAAAAH! Thats some heavy brutal shit! Horns up! Smoke a blunt!

  • @ExtremeAgressor420 You can't be a stoner and listen to death metal, you probably listen to bob marley too don't you?

  • @ExtremeAgressor420 nile. the definition of brutality

  • this album kicks ass long live death metal!

  • I like the riff that starts on 1:31

  • 0:39 - 0:43 just turned me on a bit

  • Just because I don't believe in religion does not mean I am a hypocrite for thinking of a collective infinite consciousness that we all are a part of is god. It's pretty obvious. Many people, Atheist and brainwashed by religion would give me thumbs down though.

  • @CrushJehovah your not unique. there r many kids who say the same shit as you

  • @CrushJehovah I stay out of religion and personally do not believe in God.

However, I will never criticize someone personally for believing in anything. That is what's wrong with people.

  • @CrushJehovah well fuckin put thank you

  • kill yourself

  • Jesus fucking Christ! ..That's so sick! O__O *thumbs up*

  • you watch horor movies ? I listen death metal.

  • Its not about the lyrics, dude...

  • @MetalShredder95 Well thats a matter of personal opinion dude... To some people, lots of people, lyrics do matter. They don't matter to me as much as the music and composition do but they still matter...

  • @MetalShredder95:

Donald Tardy of Obituary is in agreement with you. Obituary's first album, Slowly We Rot, contained many tracks that were void of discernible lyrics, as many times there weren't any. Tardy has stated that he used random words and sounds that fit the music. As Death Metal has progressed and bands are centering their themes around certain topics, Nile and Egypt for example, lyrics are becoming key to the music. Lyrics are definitely not everything to every Death Metal band.

  • haha jehova is winey bitch in the bible, good thing he doesn't actually exist, cause then I'd have to bludgent him to death with his book of lies

  • what did you get bludgeoned to death from that shitty ass suicide shit song?

  • @666bringerofdeath fuck you, Suicide silence rules. Nile has fucking opened for them. Don't gt me wrong, I'm not saying they are better then Nile because technically speaking its a no contest. BUT STILL. Suicide Silence is a great band and they are amazing live.

  • No they suck live they opened up for Megadeth and every song sounded the same. The whole crowd was booing and flicking them off we even threw bottles at them.

  • lol in LV they didn't even show up to the show with Megadeth, too scared i think

  • Ya Megadeth kicked them off the tour for the last few dates lol.

  • @AOTS210 What band you talking about?

  • @YTisMyPlaylist suicide silence

  • thank god for nile and all awsome music

  • 1:09

  • nile>cc hands down

  • The voice at 00:08 was used by Karl Sanders on his new solo album, Saurian Exorcisms (I forget which song). Karl Sanders solo stuff also is really awsome, you people need to check it out!

  • nILE AND CANNIBAL CORPSE ARE BOTH VEY TECHNICAL IN THE GUITAR/BASS DEPARTMENT BUT NILE HAS WAY MORE INTRICATE DRUMMING

  • They're a lot more intricate with the whole song structures as well.

  • if you guys want to check a fucking brutal band than i would really really say AEON !!!!

  • if u liked Nile .. u will like that band too

    Scarab-Death metal band from egypt

    /watch?v=hU6JDv_Eeeo

  • I personally like CC better because I think they are heavier and more brutal, but am I saying I don't like Nile, fuck no! I 'm watching the video aren't I?

  • watching a vid isn't a good estimation of ones music taste;p A lot people come bitch around specifically at vids they don't like.

  • It's an opinion first off, the words 'personally' and 'think' should have tipped you off to that. So what if I think CC is more brutal, what are you going to do about it? Bitch on the internet? Also I would like to know when Cannibal Corpse became 'emo'. Thank you DinkyDoeDoe for at least showing some civility in your reply, unlike IvanaStuffurasshole. If Nile is supposed to be the 'Thinking Man's Death Metal' he's a disgrace.

  • Nile and Cannibal Corpse are both Brutal. It's all a matter of opinion of which you like more. Who gives a shit what other people say. I prefer Nile over CC but liek i said it's an opinion.

  • ive listened to alot of these nile songs and there so awesome

what would you call the sort of egyptian like things in their music?

  • honestly cc cant be compared as nile is more technical .. though cc by evisceration plague proved to be as brutal as nile .. nile techniques are worse as karl tunes all strings quite differently .. nile is hard to play ..

  • nile is more technical than cc, but they both could be argued as equally brutal, however i think nile is better overall

  • nile is much heavier than cc anyday

  • True but so what? They are both kick ass bands besides CC is my fav. band so i go with them

  • @Acent2 Wow even death metalheads debate each other.

  • @Acent2 i agree even though i like cc.

  • don't you just love the intro

  • Probably one of the best metal intros ever..... also love the outtro starting at 2:00 or so. Just an amazing amazing song.

  • lol @ "CC is better".

Barnes + Corpsegrinder + those rednecks and their simple 1d tremolo crap doesn't compare to this genius. Nile rapes CC over and over.

    Different musical classes.

  • notreally

Cannibal Corpse and this are very comparable, except that Nile is a little more melodic with the frequent Arpeggios. I like them both.

  • Well, and in CC, zombies eat you...in Nile, Ramses-in-bandages eats you.

  • @Deathloc45 Even though they are both Death Metal I think it's still comparing apples to oranges. Sure i can see this song being compared to CC but let's talk about any song from Annihilation of the Wicked. There are more Egyptian influences in that which makes it hard to compare CC and Nile. I think a BETTER comparison would be Behemoth and Nile. Now we are talking IMO

  • @Deathloc45 Nile and Cannibal Corpse are both great bands but I really love Nile's melodies and how it combines metal with ancient Egyptian music.

  • I NEED this album

  • This is probably my favorite from them, but Annihilation of the Wicked kicks serious ass as well. If you like their riffing alot, Annihilation is a bit more guitar-heavy.

  • Nile lyrics are unfuckingbelievable awesome !! I'm from Egypt tho \,,/

  • aNYONE HAVE THERE DEMOS OR THAT EP?

  • this is a good song. actually any song nile has ever written is a good song! ya! nile!

  • what you say is 100% true man

  • Great tune. The Egyptian stuff makes it real exotic death metal

  • Nile is one of my favorite bands, Hails from Argentina

  • This album is the best. Makes Cannibal Corpse look like faggots.

  • No it doesn't........

  • Nile's my favorite band and this is a great album, but CC is still relatively good in comparison.

  • In fact, Nile and Cannibal Corpse have toured together many times and get along just fine. And lets face it, both bands crush the shit out emo guitar players..

  • Nile's drummers are way more talented and diverse than anything Cannibal Corpse ever had for a drummer.

  • yeah it's true that paul sucks but nile are technical brutla death metal so i thing it's sure to look like that

  • I wouldn't go so far as to say that he sucks. Not at all, but all of Nile's drummers do beat him hands down.

  • Even Paul really stepped it up on "Evisceration Plague" to make a very sick album.

  • yea, pauls the only drumme cc's ever had!! XD

  • yes it is

  • hehe du hast kein plan man

  • This is probably my favorite song from Amongst the Catacombs of Nephren-Ka.

  • 1:10 <33

  • brootal

  • lol, this is what i call technical. try to headbang to it... it's going to be hard as hell because the tempo changes every now and then :D

  • true dat

  • Its basically one tempo. It only changes at 1:10 and then once it goes back to the original tempo
