  • Just a thought: This was made in 1991. It's 2011, and although not in the same form, it's so AWESOME that the MSEP is STILL around for the younger ones to see. Hopefully, one day, *crosses fingers* it will be placed back in its home...Disneyland's Magic Kingdom.

  • do you happen to have the add for its third return in the late 90's? it included the vocoder in there.

  • @funtyrone No, I don't! Sorry!

  • Hi Remember me ? I was Cooldisneylandvideos and HBvideos Channel, but because Youtube has weird copyright laws my account was closed again, Anyway Here is my back up channel, Mycoolhomevideos. Enjoy and please Re-sub, I will upload all my old videos, What do you want me to Reupload next ? Thanks

  • The Electrical Parade sure is not the same now. Tinkerbell now leads the parade instead of the Blue Fairy.

  • the music used here sounds similar to the Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade Dreamlioghts soundtrack wich is the soundtrack our electrical parade is rumoured to be using starting next summer.

  • UGH, I sure hope not!

  • This music is different from the music played at DCA but somehow it feels more familiar. -Could it be that the music played in this video is the same soundtrack they used around this time?

  • IMO, maybe they used a version that was especially made for advertising rather than the original soundtrack. The one used in DCA is the exact same soundtrack used since 1977 but with updates from that point.

  • Do you have any advertisements of when Fantasmic began at Disneyland?

  • Yes! The good old days! It's been so long now, I think some people have either forgotten or just don't know that there used to be four parades a day. Two in the daytime, and two at night. The entertainment was really on point back then. They didn't even need Fantasmic, to be honest. As a matter of fact, they wouldn't have retired the MSEP if it weren't for that triflin' Fantasmic. Ugh! I heard the same rumors. I hope it's true too, and I wholeheartedly agree.

  • Commercials like that really did make me want to go to Disneyland and see it that much more! After the first time, I was hooked for good, but these commercials really were good at sparking your interest. They made all the floats look extra sparkling. The announcer lady was quite correct. The night really was never the same again. I can't believe I forgot that the Blue Fairy had that big of a train and the six royal train carriers as late as 1992. I'm disappointed with myself.

  • (sighs) Yes, those were the good old days of Disneyland. You would go there and you'd have two day parades and two performances of MSEP with Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks to cap off the visit. Hopefully, those rumours about this coming back to Disneyland Park next year will come true. IMO, the Electrical Parade should have NEVER been retired in 1996.

  • @TerryT1976 Damn right! It should still be in Disneyland right now. Seriously, shame on whoever made the decision to move it!

  • How do you find stuff like this?! This is GREAT! It really brings back some memories. And you know, you never remember the old advertisements until you see them again like this. I do remember vaguely commercials like that, and the slightly off Baroque Hoedown music. It's assumed that they don't play the actual music on purpose, to keep the sounds especially for Disneyland. Truly unique find.

  • I bought some old VHS tapes which have movies taped from KCOP and etc and this came up as I was rewinding and reviewing the tape. I would like to find more MSEP Disneyland commericals soon.

  • What a lucky find! I'm sure you wasn't expecting it. It's in such great condition too.
