I have been a Metallica fan since I was about twelve. I prefer the songs from the 80's to 1990 as well. I try to have an open mind. To me this seems to be more of a tribute to Lou Reed and his work by Metallica more than anything. Lou Reed back in the day wrote some pretty awesome stuff.
