im looking at building the same exhaust as you, cept mine might be a lil different.. 3" catless down pipe, 3" straight pipe with no cat running through a flowmaster muffler, personally i think it sounds better than borla mufflers, magnaflow mufflers, etc. so what setup did you run?

dude, this is the only other GTI i've found w/ a single exhaust exit. I have a 3" exhaust built just like yours except mine's a flomaster Super 44. What series did you buy?!

hey how do i get that downspool noise u get after u rev it? i have an 06 mkv gti with a res and suitcase muffler delete so far. some videos i see where people have mkv gtis with downpipes but i dont hear that same downspool like u got.

No not really...there is some drone around 2500 rpm but everywhere else in the rpm range is quite quiet
