I had one in 1985, Before that I had a Gilera. The AR 50 had no guts at all be careful which one you buy

ye you could get some good power out of an ar50 i had a mk 1 ar same as this back in 1988 a mate beat me on his rd 50 so i got an 80 bottom end 6 speed and fitted it with a 93cc big bore kit and carb and the classic allspeed very fast bike and it never let me down ive now been riding for 23 years but some of my best rides were on that little AR got as much fun on that than i do now on a gsxr 1000

would you belive me if i said i had 1 of these and i could get it doing 75mph?. micron exhaust system 80cc big bore, racing reeds and a few tweeks to the carb, i had a straight drag race with a honda CD 200 benly on 1/2 mile strip and beat it hands down from the off.

i had one too 1n 1988 my ar 80 did bang on 75 as well i run it in to the book

should get the 93cc kit, its even faster... the exhaust port is huge, make sure to get the 6 speed gear box too, else you will run out of gears in a second

I had once an AR50 where I had put a KX80 engine under !!! That was fun !!! There was nothing faster in that range to find those days (and I think even not now if it would still be riding) ....... ;-))

Does anyone know about a full fairing for the AR50. I have had an AR50 long time ago and heard about a full fairing, but never saw it.

starts better than mine lol, used to have to bump start mine whenever i wanted to use it, they do go quite well for a 50cc bike though, used to be able to get 65mph out of mine on the flat, just had a micron exhaust system on it.
