hmm interesting...i would say darkness is the ab-sense of light whereas a shadow is a manifestation of light - without light there is darkness - with light 'and something to obscure it' there is shadow - the shadow is illusion, though it implies the obstruction - is that our inner self standing between the light and the shadow???

@TheSolberry hmm..nice :) Was more of an analogy but we can take it further. A shadow could be seen as the absence of light if there was complete obstruction. As in, when it is night or darkness as you said. The fact that we can see the shadow, there must be light within it. The beautiful paradox is that a shadow has no depth but gives the illusion of depth. It is a 2d object and shadows are used to give the illusion of 3d in a 2d painting. cont...

I would say that the object which obstructs the Light is your current form or identification. The shadow is the only way to experience the Infinite, it gives it dimension. If defines and creates the illusion of finite within the Infinite. You are the Infinite and the Higher Self knows this. Physical Self thinks it's finite. Thanks for your insights!

@vibesync yes thanks, thats excellent very clear, I love the paradox and the example of a painting...it does look like the physical is becoming exponentially aware of the infinite - guess this is a reflection of the disintegration of duality and the merging (of what was always really one thing) of the perceived inner and outer selves..

@thepapasmurf2 just a logical download from Source. Time is resistance, that's why things don't manifest instantly in this dimension. So Time casts a shadow onto Now. :)
