I know this is a late reply but the Focus RS was available in Mexico from late 2009 to early 2011 (2010 and 2011 MY). 2010 MY was $459,900 pesos and 2011 MY was 479,800 pesos (at that time 1 dollar was like 12 pesos) so it was almost 40k for a Focus RS, actually a great price considering this car was imported from Germany. Every Focus RS sold in Mexico was Lime Green and I'm not sure if only 100 were brought here per model year.

We spend 100,000 Human Work Hours to set up a manufacturing facility building a certain type of automobile. We clean up that facility and re-use that facility to build another type of automobile. Instead of banging a good looking 8 years per automobile, we're banging 4 years ugly automobiles which waste time and resources. For instance, the Volvo XC90 has been in production since 2002, and only has received minor changes to furthermore "perfect" the vehicle. Keep the Vehicles in longer production to work out all the issues and create a strong, reliable car. Some other examples are the Volvo S60 first produced in 2000 and was redesigned this year. And the S40 in 2003. Whereas cars like the Ford Taurus 5th generation lasted 2008-09 and is unreliable.

1. Bau mal die Plastikteile an einem Mercedes aus und wirf sie auf einen haufen, mach das gleiche mit dem RS und ich garantiere dir der Haufen von dem Mercedes ist größer.

2.Die schürze wird eingeclipst und mit einer Schraube befestigt, sehe da keine schlechte Passung.

3. Die Lackierung an einem RS ist mehrschichtig, die Karosserien werden im Tauchbad verzinkt anschließend weiß grundiert und zu guterletzt kommt die effektfarbe drauf.

I know I heard somewhere from a Ford press release that the next gen Ford Focus (the one that has just recently been released) is going to be available in NA as an RS model. This particular Focus body style in the video will not be making it to NA (seems pointless to bring an old body style to market when a new one is available).
