if u cannot use the functions the unit has it kinda sucks...
like the connected cd changer in the glovebox...
also the original unit is connected to the mfa display which shows navigation directions ...
i guess id still go for the original cuz the rns 510 looks powerful and it has a touchscreen hard drive ,mp3/wma, memory card reader etc. and i heard it connects in place of mfd2 easily...
dude - did you connect a pc trough the video in or somethin? cuz this definitely isn't what mfd2 or mfd-dvd is capable of....
im havin a hard time with my passat's nav cuz they don't make maps for latvia and it's kind of outdated anyway.... so i can just dream about the new rns-510 model which has a eastern european cd, but costs way too much...
