  • when liam sings I am outta time verses..man that really hits you. powerful feeling.

  • Comment removed

  • his voice here still sounds better than his voice in Beady Eye.

  • @MiguelGuedesPinto i would agree but this one looks like the only nice performance of him considering how shit he sounded whole 08-09, so he's better now, he carries the whole tour nowadays

  • Why are people afraid to say fuck?

  • this song is among the best 5 song ever written in the rock history. By far the best from Oasis. It is incredible it did not hit the charts, a true shame. Still this song will be remembered through ages.

  • @brasileiro69 I guess you are damn right.

One of the best songs ever written in the rock history. A true homage to the Beatles heritage. Hats dow!

  • @occhioallallocco Are you SERIOUS???? It makes me laugh how deluded - or simply ignorant of music - many Oasis fans are. This song is TOTALLY derivative. He sings like John Lennon. Musically it is plodding four by four and a pathetically desperate attempt to sound like the Beatles, yet again, 40 years later. The lyrics are simply ordinary. Catchy chorus, yes, but so what? This song does nothing important at all. Just because you like it does not make it one of the best in history.

  • @THthefirst

You're still blinded by the compulsion to find something "important" that a song does. All music is derivative; unfortunately some musicians' believe that their purpose is merely to create something that doesn't sound like it's been done before and they end up writing shit that people like you pretend to like. Grow up and stop trying to be different. Take my word for it, that's the ultimate act of being derivative.

  • @mdilla11 That reductive view in a nutshell symbolises Oasis and its fans. Why not accept that I am allowed my view and you yours? Why insult me for having a different view? I agree music is often derivative but there are surely degrees. Oasis in the main made no effort to do anything different and stole ideas, whereas great artists are driven by a desire to find more interesting and challenging angles and to make a difference which they did, like Lennon, Dylan, Bowie and more besides.

  • @THthefirst

Why insult you? Didn't you initiate the rudeness by claiming that Oasis fans are deluded and ignorant? You responded to someone who simply expressed their appreciation for this song with negativity, and now you are saying that you should be allowed your view? Get real... You probably don't like Oasis because you like the softer stuff, which is fine, but don't convince yourself that it's all about being "different", because that's bullshit. And no one wants to hear it.

  • @mdilla11 That's fair enough - as I did throw the first punch! I would say though that Oasis are not bad, they are just not great. I do think that they are/were resistant to innovation, change, challenge, creativity, which are so important for great artists. There are many great writers, poets, painters, composers, songwriters etc who have changed things and done it differently - not re-inventing the wheel, but adding something new and important. Oasis, Coldplay etc (in fact most) don't.

  • @THthefirst Why does a band or musician have to innovate? Most of their "innovative" work ends up as a piece of crap. How can you honestly say with a straight face that most artists "change direction" for the better? Sure Bob Dylan did it somewhat succesfully, The Beatles were fantastic at it, no argument there. Noel or Liam had no need to reinvent themselves. Noel did one thing well : write anthems and pop ballads and that's what people like him for.

  • @therichardchannel I agree, I like Oasis for that reason - esp the early stuff. But if one wants to have a discussion about their importance/influence (and I didn't start this off) you can't escape comparing them to others and thinking about what they added to music. As you say, Dylan is a prime example of someone who fundamentally changed music - right man at the right time, sure, which helped - but he was a genius. Lennon to a lesser degree. Noel Gallagher - talented, but no genius.

  • @THthefirst Noel has said in one of the Japanese Sony interviews that he has no interest in writing different music "because it would sound like shite". And who could argue with him? I'd rather listen to Don't Look Back in Anger fifty times in a row than some jazz shit that he would struggle to put out.

  • @therichardchannel That's because he knows he can't do anything different, so he puts out the same old stuff, time and time again. People said the same thing in the 1940s. Then Presley came along. They said it in the early 60s, then Dylan and the Beatles changed music forever (Dylan made it possible to SAY something in a song and free minds and the Beatles changed sound). There are others. Those with real artistic talent and creativity will produce amazing art without fear, don't worry.

  • @mdilla11 well said. I despise music that tries to sound different just for the sake of being different. It sounds like pure shit. There's a reason why so many people like only the first few albums of certain artists, because their effort to "change direction" only ends up as a product that is not as honest as the previous ones were. Could you imagine Noel trying to write jazz? "I have no interest in doing that and it would sound like fucking shite" as he would say.

  • No liam no party

  • live forever

  • AWSOME! I fucking love this song, and Oasis. I wish they come back together, we need oasis again

  • that's music with soul~~ oasis live forever

  • grande musica, apesar da voz do liam...pare com o alcool liam!!

  • I prefer the studio version; a nice dream-away song.

  • AMAZING!

  • Liam is so fucking sexy

  • voce a pezzi...LIAM TI AMIAMO

  • This is sooo liams song he is absolutely bossing it

  • This song was the only Oasis single not to make it into top 20 in the UK ... WHY!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? THIS SONG AND VIDEO VERSION IS UNREAL, BRILLIANT STUFF LIAM

  • @MusicMinded1 cause our world is fucked up right now

  • @MusicMinded1 It got to number 12 in the UK, the only Oasis song not to get into the top 20 is Supersonic which got to number 31. Anyway, yeah this song is fucking bang on, as are all of Oasis' songs and it's an atrocity that it didn't get to number 1 and stay there until Falling Down was released; but oh well, who needs chart positions and sales figures to define brilliance? Oasis show they are the greatest band ever without those.

  • @geflad really!?! I swear on the radio it said this was like one of the only songs not to get as much praise or something ... I may be wrong ... Seen Oasis live and it was unreal

  • @MusicMinded1 Yeah mate, number 12 definitely; but you're right, it didn't (and still doesn't get) half the praise it deserves- I personally rate it higher than Wonderwall. Unfortunately for me my friend, I've never seen them live- I'm only 17 and never really had the chance to see them because I didn't really understand them until a couple of years ago (you know, the age when I could relate to their music), shittiest feeling ever not having seen them live.

  • @geflad I listen to them for the first time at 2008. At the age of 17, now I am 20. I started loving them right after they split. They are my fav band, along with red hot. I live in Greece though, and never had the chance to see them live just like you. I will for sure travel to England to see Beady Eye live though, and hopefully Noel will do a tour by himself. But yes, shittiest feeling ever to know that such a band has split up and I haven't seen them. On the other hand, they are still alive!

  • @leritena Yeah man I know the feeling. Well I've always heard them like because my dad used to have it on all the time, but I never really listened if you know what I mean? Then I got to the age where everything they sang fitted with my life and it just started from there. Yeah I'll have to go and see them live, haven't had the chance yet but definitely will soon; and yeah, seeing Noel live will be a top priority too! True, true; I suppose there's always a chance of them getting back together!

  • His voice is pretty damn good

  • Beautiful.

  • I just love the way he sings into the mic, than steps away and gets back close to it again - he never changed that! <3

  • he sounds great I think he approached the vocals diffrnt with beady eye

  • FUCKING ACE!

  • Does anyone else think the opening few bars of this song sound like the 4 notes of the James Bond theme?

  • hate the way he pulls back from the mic

  • 3:22 - 4:16

  • 7 people is always On Time. that svcks :)

  • Liam sounds like Lennon in this song :)

  • Liam's performance is very bad in this video, but I think it deals with that particular day. I went to a concert in 01/2009 and was great.

  • Long Live Liam Gallagher

  • jesus christ liam's singing is absolute shit. why is he being payed massive amounts of money to sing with zero effort, not even holding the lyrics as long as they are in the original. he sounds great on studio-recorded records but as a live singer he sucks

  • Comment removed

  • @zcrosby hes always put 100% into his effort. Hes just lost his voice. Look at some of his older gigs. Its not that he doesnt want to sound good. He just cant do it anymore. As for your other comment. Post a video of you signing it, entertain us all please :)

  • @XGProductionz i listened to it again. i guess he's not that bad after all

  • @XGProductionz yeah i think oasis were still writing songs for their 22 year old selves, when in reality the brothers were/are pushing 40 or well past 40. it's a shame. i dont doubt that liam WANTS to sing as best he can.

  • @beatlegreg07 indeed

  • @zcrosby

He sung as a god ten years ago. But he lost his voice because of the way he strains his vocal chords.

  • @Endstation You're right. But he still sings as a god nowadays.

  • oasis aren't out of time

  • gem is awesome!

  • i hope liam can write more songs like this one for beady eye

  • liams voice is incredible here, what a tune. liams song writing is epic!!!

  • If I have to go, in my heart you go

    that's where you belong

    Coz I'm Outta Time

    Coz I'm Outta Time

  • who said liam lost his voice? hes fuckin awesome

  • =D My favourite Oasis song because of this vid!

  • Liam's voice is good here because if you look at the mic, its in line with his eyes, and on the Wembley one, the mics up, and its putting more strain on his neck

  • fuck.. liam should write more.. this is amazing.

  • If i'm to fall, would you be there to applaud or would you hide behind the wall.

If i have to go, in my heart you grow cause thats where you belong.

I'm outta time. I'm Outta time.

  • hear liam out. beady eye will be amazing.

  • Good voice ! Liam!

  • good voice!!

  • He's just so laid back and relaxed here, i dont see why he tries so hard in concert if he is as good as that.

  • i love how the music is really quiet and you see how good liams vocals really are at times

  • waiting for beady eye...

  • i went to see oasis 3 times in the 12months before they split up, and liam did not sing this well once. its nice to see he can still perform when he can be arsed.

  • Been in love with Oasis since 95...Champagne Supernova is when I fell in love. So sad they have parted but look forward to the new band and Noels solo work. The whole band is so talented. I will always have a mad crush on Liam, love that cocky, rock n roll attitude and one heck of a frontman..what a presence. They are unique and one of a kind. Love em or hate em but they are classic, one of the very best. Karen in Missouri USA.

  • @kimwickware the same with me, champagne supernova, my entrance to the oasis-universe!

  • this is amazing!! i thought liam lost his voice but this sounds brilliant!

  • What an unreal song.

  • it's like the sore raspy-ness in his voice strenghtens the vulnerability that is in the words, in the lyrics. "You know it's getting hard to fly". Fly is as far as I know a verb that Liam uses instead of the verb sing? Or?

  • Thanks for this, now I realized that he can still sing when he wants to, can't wait to hear beady eye's songs!

  • you can't do more beautiful

  • this is the best liam's performance of all time. fuckin epic

  • @madferit100 OMFG then I don't wanna hear the worst... Liam's voice in the chorus is just the worst has ever happened to the music

  • @luxak0 this shows you don't understand anything, go and listen to justin bieber, jackass

  • @madferit100 I said music, dude

  • @luxak0 fuck off, dude

  • great fuking job ......best song liam wrote so far......

  • Wow! This proves that Liam can still bring it when he wants to. Although he does do the annoying thing he'd taken to on the last tour where he refuses to hold a note for more than 2 seconds. He's not too bad about it here though.

Hope this carries over onto the Beady Eye live set.

  • :O I just found out his name was Liam :D

    How crazzy right?

  • this performance is beter than the album version. full of emotion. LIAAAM

  • Liam's voice is so raspy here it's scary.

    Great gig.

  • awesome...

  • oh man this is like playback from the studio album ! this is flawless

  • This shows he still has it, shame he cant be arsed most the time

  • @leighslambchops How would you feel, nearly 2 decades of the same songs. No wonder he sings good here because these wer new songs at the time.

  • una obra de arte

  • Liams voice is always better during small

    Gigs like this one

  • liam's loock reminds me of g-mex 97, and this voice is fucking amazing

  • His voice is fucked. BUT, he has determination and compared to two or three years before...ehh not bad...

  • I disagree, his voice isn't fucked, it sounds really good here and its one of if not the best performance of I'm Outta Time that I've heard

  • best performance of any of their songs i've heard for a long time

  • liams voice is f***ing epic here

  • @thekarzycheif umm are you a retard? he sounds like shit. i could sing this better than him. your just blinded by oasis propaganda

  • u2,oasis,tube,assasinssis,is bests

  • im soo proud i can play this song on guitar

  • OASIS

  • Liam sounds pretty good

  • @danisibaja Yep

  • Liam I love U

  • Been out of the UK for 3 years - missed this song on it's release but love it. Liam struggles with the high notes live (only the tone deaf would deny this), but his charisma and the fact that he is Liam Fucking Gallagher more than make up for it. Love it.

  • i've seen him struggle wayy more than this. his voice sounded great on this.

  • super piosenka

  • hey does anybody feel the live version sounds a but like cranberries song Zombie

  • thats the best song with his voice cant fet any better from the voice
