  • myatt10 theres nothing wrong with feeding beef ONCE in awhile fish arent fully adapted to digest mammel fat on a consistant baises. If you always feed warm blooded animals if leads to fatty liver disease. If you cant afford to feed these big cats then you none the less you shouldnt be keeping them simple as that.

  • FISH STICKS SONNNNN

  • Why are people ranting on about how this bloke shouldn't be feeding them hot dogs & that he needs to add sand, im sure if you had 30 odd big cats most people couldn't afford to feed them fresh fish, I've had 2 up to 30" & they used to cost £20 a week on trout&sardines, atleast hes doing a good job and actually being able to house these fish, as he has properly took them off people who cannot house them which is almost everyone who has one.

Great pond by the way fella!

  • Excuse my typos using an iPad...

  • Read more of the comments this ridicules... They will just die? Seriously? Submarine girl do you anything about ichthyology? Red tail cats get to about 4-5ft this pond is plenty of room. Gigantic to some of the crappy conditions some asses make them suffer. Unless they are put in a tank that's to small for them to be become stunted yes them they will "just die".

  • Do people not do research before they post? You SHOULD NEVER release a fish back into the wild. If can cause serious harm to the ecosystem by giving off parasites or types of sickness from what only happens in tanks to wild. Also vice versa with bringing wild fish into tanks. This is why you quarantine but that's another story. And90% of fish are bred in fish farms the likely hood of these being wild caught are slim to none unless he ordered them to be. Thanks for taking care of these big cats

  • Looks like your handing out Cheetos!

  • jajaja no manches que hermoso estanque o pisina buenooO lo que sea esta genial (Y)

  • btw are those sturgeons with the redtails?

  • @Nickolas351290 They are S.American Redtail Catfish (Phractocephalus hemioliotperus) and in the wild can grow in excess of 4', swim in free flowing water and hunt during the night for live fish, the grey black and white are Tiger Shovelnose Catfish (Pseudoplatystoma fasciatum tigrinum) which are also native to S.America and also grow in excess of 4' also feeding at night, there are other cats in this mans pond including Oxydoras Niger- ripsaw catfish, the black ones with spines down there sides

  • @Nickolas351290 hi yes they are, they have now been rehomed

  • what do they eat?

  • @JaMiEsHoRtY21 fish

  • normally i would agree with the submarine girl, but there really isn't anything bad happening. all the fish looked healthy and WAY more in shape and active than some in the wild. they are probobly better off in the tank. Ya they would probobly like some sandy bedding, and some driftwood and that kind of thing but 1. the video didn't show the whole tank, and 2.As i said they seem perfectly fine without that stuff.I'd rather whoever this is to keep the large fish than some of the other morons.

  • Hi are they in a swimming pool? Don't look like a pond well not the sort i've seen lol.

  • @Juniorsmummy hi, no a pond, just used a blue liner

  • I'm lovin it, only thing wouldnti it be better to have a sand substrate? think it would look great then with a couple of tangel rose and maybe some suitably large plants, STILL COOL AS F_CK THO !!!

  • @ThEsUbMaRiNeGirL hi, trouble with putting things in the pond red tails become territorial and start fighting

  • just some sand would make a hell of a difference !! Perhaps try returning some of those fish to the wild, if one person starts others may see the respect in it......

  • @ThEsUbMaRiNeGirL hi, true it would, love to return them to the wild but i cant afford to send them to south america

  • @catfishkeeper uh-huh its sad really, unless your going to eat them they'll just die when they get too big for a pond, I'd have to think about eating them or selling them to someone who will and seperate the males and females too !!

  • @catfishkeeper I understand that its sad really, if someone would make or could even afford to make an indoor tropical lake, but then they breed and overstock without fishing, which would be a bloody good way of rehoming them suitably in this country and making good money through indoor tropical sport fishing !! If some also bloody rich person could afford to send them all home that would be nice too !!!

JUST LIKE ON HILLBILLY HAND FISHIN'

  • its been proven that eating 1 hotdog is equilavent to smoking one cigarette...

  • @xXBloodSightXx lol apples and oranges dude. the effects of hotdogs and cigarettes are totally different xD

  • @LittleShinobi92 they both give heart problems after long term effects.... just saying its science....

  • hot dogs are not a healthy diet for fish. Most fish lack the necessary enzymes needed to break down specific fats found in mammals. Try switching to fish fillets.

  • @Spyder001oUSAo hi mate, they do really well on them

  • @catfishkeeper No they dont. Long term your looking at some serious problems. Its 3rd grade science. If you adopt these fish you are required to do what is right. That means proper diet. You should consider taking an entry level biology or vet course. As you need to educate yourself further if you wish to take on such responsibilies.

  • @Spyder001oUSAo You see the size of his fish? Are they dying? I think not. You dont know what you are talking about. Unless, you yourself have catfish that big who died from eating hot dogs you are in no position to say anything.

  • Very cool your pool of fish .. how many cans of hot dogs you spend for food?

  • haha.thank you again so much.I'll cut down on the feeding haha.by the way.what do you consider a daily diet for RTC and TSN?.thank you.

  • @IR0NXi0NG we recommend a couple of prawns, worms,we use hodog sausages in brine and they love it..lol

  • I have a question to ask.my 2 and a half inch RTC has been throwing back out the feeders he ate.why is that.

  • @IR0NXi0NG hes obviously over eating (as they do..lol) this is nothing to worry about, try cutting down on the amount of food or even change from what you give him now, hope this helps, thanks

  • What's going on Fish Brother!!!!!! How old is you're biggest RTC, and it's size? Besides carrots what else do you feet them? How many fish you have total?
